Position and emoluments per Number of month positions Senior/Junior Project Fellow 01 (SPF/JPF) @ Rs. 18,000/- for SPF (having 2 years of field experience) and Rs 16000/- for JPF ( fresh candidates ) per month
Educational qualifications Essential : M.Sc Environmental Sciences or M.Sc Botany with at least 55 % marks and a minimum of 2 yrs field experience in alpine / timberline ecology for SPF. Desirable : Candidates having field experience in alpine / timberline ecology shall be preferred.
AGE LIMIT : The upper age limit for SPF and JPF shall be 30 & 28 years, respectively, as on the day the application is received and is extendable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / Physically handicapped / OBC applicants. INTERVIEW : Eligible candidates shall be informed about the date and venue of the interview on the tephone number/e-mail provided by the candidate. All the applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. No TA / DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

The appointment of the Project fellow will be purely temporary, time bound; nonregular and the candidates shall have no legal right to claim his / her regularization / appointment. The project involves rigorous field work and long field stays at timberline interfaces around Bhaderwah, Paddar and the adjoining areas. Only the committed and physically fit candidates thus need apply for the positions. The staff shall be engaged initially up to 31/03/2019, later extendable to 2 years, if required and shall be co-terminus with the project.
