In charge of performing imaging experiments using foldscope, more details on foldscope can be found in this website https://www.foldscope.com/ In charge of collecting plant leaves and bacterial samples from industries and agriculture farms. Develop Andriod/iphone apps to quantify images obtained using foldscope Project is for 1-year duration. Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis with a consolidated pay of Rs.25,000 per month.
Requirements:
Msc/M-Tech in Biotechnology/Biological Sciences/Biophysics, or in any relevant discipline. Strong background in biological spectroscopy, fluorescence and optical microscopy techniques. Experience in basic Microbiology and Molecular biology techniques are essential. Experience app development and programming in MATLAB, Python, or similar highlevel programming languages is desirable. Successful candidates are expected to register as full-time PhD student in the upcoming academic year.
