What's Roasting? BY HAYLEY NEWTON (THE MARKETING MANIAC) I wanted to give a happy thank you to Dashing Pig Kitchen. I am an avid night market attendee, but I hadn’t seen this stall before at the Pakuranga Night market. Ten long years in Japan have taught me not to be afraid to try new types of food. So I dragged my poor man friend Keith over to the stall with me. I ordered the Pork Chop Bun
and while I was waiting, I sampled
the curry and the pork and eggplant soup. My samples were delicious; I hadn’t had this combination before. In the back of the stall, I could see my pork chop bun being prepared. I was not disappointed by the size and small salad with the fried pork and fresh roll. The sauce was rich with a hint of coriander and a little bit of spice. I finished mine off with my favourite bubble tea but don’t let my recommendation stop you.
