How to manually add a Standard product on the Knowband PrestaShop Marketplace Knowband Prestashop marketplace module is a quite familiar and feature rich plugin for all the PrestaShop store owners. It provides a great flexibility of product addition and also supports both the manual and CSV mode of product addition by a seller. Here, I am going to explain some easiest steps you can follow to add a product to the Knowband marketplace manually. You should perform these steps to avoid any error while adding a standard product on the marketplace: Step 1: Navigate to the marketplace site and sign into your marketplace seller account. Step 2: Click the tab "Seller account" which you will see after successfully logging in to your seller account and select "Products" from the drop down menu. Step 3: Now, find a headline saying "Products Collection" and click on the button "Add New" which you will find alongside the headline. Step 4: Here, you will see a page saying "New product>Set the Product Type." Select the product type as "Standard Product" and click "Next" button. You will see a page with the headline "Information." Please Note: On Information page, you will find several entities marked with (*) in red color. Make sure you do not omit any of these(*) market entities.
Step 5: Fill in the details as follows: Name*: Name of the product that you want to be shown on the marketplace.
Reference Code*: A unique reference code for the particular product. EAN-13 or JAN barcode: Provide a 13 digit numeric code that will generate a barcode for the product. UPC Barcode: It is similar to EAN-13 used to create a barcode. You can omit this if you are using EAN 13 already. Active: Select the status of the product from the drop down menu. Select "Yes" if you want the product to be active and shown on the marketplace. Select "No" if you want to make it active later on. Visibility: Select from the options in the drop down menu where you want to make your product visible on the marketplace. Condition: Select a condition to specify the product is new, used or refurbished. Options: Mark/leave the check box according to your wish. Mark "Available for order", "Show price "and "Online only" if you want your product to be shown as available, to show price of product on the marketplace, and to make available only for online purchase, respectively. Short Description: Write a brief description of your product which will be shown on the product page at the right side of the product image. You can also use HTML tags or regular text to write the description. Description: Write a detailed description of the product that will be shown on the product page at the bottom. You can use HTML tags or regular texts here. Tags: Write the keywords for your product to be searched on the marketplace. Prices: Mention the Wholesale price, Retail price*, Special price with the period of the special price. Check the box of "On sale" if you want to promote your product as a discounted product. SEO: Provide Meta Title, Meta Description, and a Friendly Url* for the SEO of your product page. Images: Section is not active yet. It will become active as soon as you complete this page and save it. Quantities: ĺ°ˆ Give the amount of stock available for a product with you.

Categories: Select from the categories assigned to you by the marketplace admin. Also, choose a default category from one of the categories that you have selected already. Shipping: Mention your Shipping details and select from the available shippings that are allowed to you by the marketplace. Combinations: You can also mention the variations of the same product you have. These variations may be sizes or colors of a product. Step 6: Click "Save and continue". Step 7: Upload the product image and mention the "Combinations" and "Compositions." Step 8: "Click Save". Your product will be saved and sent to admin for approval. So, after the admin approves your product, it will automatically come live on the marketplace.
