Green-tech supports woodland project in Leeds Quartix launches vehicle check app

Quartix, a global leader in fleet telematics solutions has launched a new app for fleets looking to improve safety and support compliance requirements around vehicle checks and driver safety.

The ‘Quartix Check’ app enables drivers to report vehicle health checks to the fleet manager, as well as incidents and accidents. It is available initially in the UK market, before launching in the US and Europe in the near future.

The app covers all the standard vehicle walkaround checks to ensure a vehicle is safe to drive. Phase 2 of the app will also allow fleet managers to customise the items to be inspected to tailor the checklist to their specific needs.

Initially the app is available with a 50% introductory offer discount to both new and existing Quartix customers at £1 per month per vehicle.

The Gair Wood project is a part of the University of Leeds Climate Plan, which sets out the aim of reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions from the university.

The app is available on both Android and Apple App Stores and as an addon to a Quartix Fleet Tracking subscription.
