Choosing a Ride-on Mower with a dealer. Some are quite good at making it easy to swap mowers annually, a well cared for part exchange from the more afordable end of a given range enabling them to buy it back as a used mower suitable for sale for larger ‘domestic’ market. There are of course compact professional rideon models to consider, such as the Hydro models from Etesia. This type of mower is ideally suited to landscaper projects as the machines are compact, easy to use and designed to collect longer grass. As a sweeping generalisation, ride-on tractor models are a good choice where you want a wider deck. Try both designs before making a choice.

Generally speaking, large open areas are better suited to Out-Front machines such as the Kubota F1900, F2890E (pictured), F3090 and F3890. Greater power means large decks can be driven, typically 60" or 72", thus reducing passes required. Dropping down to a 1" cut will give a iner inish.

Choosing a Ride-on Mower Cuttings can be removed to separate area for dumping, or dumped in the trailer for removal. As a rule of thumb, the larger the machine, the larger the capacity of collector, so consider the likely volume of collections.

IS MULCHING A REQUIREMENT, OR MIGHT IT BE FOR DIFFERENT JOBS? If it is, then you need to look at a machine that will offer a mulching version. All Those who like the agility of a zero-turn but demand the traction of all-wheel drive may be interested in the Toro Groundsmaster 360. A matter of trust Last year more than 7.2 million irms details were given to the public as a result of searches on TrustMark’s website and calls to its 24/7 telephone helpline, of which 278,621 were for garden landscapers and tree surgeons.
