ELECTROSTATIC FILTER AIRTRONIC 100 ESP Smoke, Odours & Carbon Filtration System OPERATION MANUAL SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS

AIRTRONIC 100 ESP ELECTROSTATIC FILTER DESCRIPTION The AIRTRONIC 100 ESP electrostatic filter (fig.1) is an advanced technology filter developed by our company in order to absorb the smoke, oil and odors of the TR-1000 coffee roasting machine. It is an environmentally friendly smoke trap and absorbs over 98% of smoke, odors, dust and other harmful substances, while sterilizing the air with ionization. It has four (4) special filters that absorb oils, smoke, odors and pollutants. It is suitable for indoor use, such as coffee shops,, bakeries, hotels, catering, but also for use by Coffee Roasters. The AIRTRONIC 100 ESP electrostatic filter is easy to use and does not require special installation of smoke extraction pipes for roasting up to 5 kg per day. For roasting more coffee, it is necessary to install a 100mm pipe (fig. 1a) to escape the air into the environment, which is extracted filtered and clean and does not disturb the urban environment.

FILTERS

fig.4

The electrostatic filter AIRTRONIC-100 ESP consists of four (4) filters. (Fig.4) • C1- Activated Carbon Cell Filter: It retains unpleasant odors. It is replaced every two years. • ESP - Electrostatic filter: Absorbs oils, smoke, dust and pollutants, while sterilizing the air that passes through it. It is not replaced, it is simply cleaned with a special degreasing liquid when the green light on the controller turns red or flashes. • B1- Smoke filter: Absorbs a large amount of smoke when roasting coffee. It is replaced every year. • A1- Oil Filter: Absorbs the oils produced when roasting coffee. It is not replaced, it is simply cleaned with a special degreasing liquid when it absorbs a sufficient amount of oil. • "T" - Stainless steel pan: contains an aluminum mesh to absorb the coffee oil.

AIRTRONIC 100 ESP ELECTOSTATIC FILTER SERVICE To perform proper maintenance, remove the “ESP” electrostatic filter (fig. 6) and place it in a basin in order to clean it. You can use the stainless steel pan "T" (fig. 4) after first spraying with the aluminum filter with the special disinfectant "ESP-OIL REMOVER" Materials for washing the filter: 1) Plastic or INOX pan. 2) ESP-OIL REMOVER (fig.5) (special formula for aluminum without Sodium Hydroxide - NaOH) 3) Water Place the filter in the plastic basin or INOX pan. a) Spray in the filter (fig.6) with the degreaser "ESP-OIL REMOVER" for as long as needed, in order to clean the wings of the filter from the oils (fig.6) and the dust and all the remnants of smoke that produced by roasting. b) Rinse the filter well with water spray (fig. 6a) and be careful not to break the ionization cables (fig. 7). c) dry it with a hot air gun (fig. 6b) until its moisture is completely gone. d) Make sure the filter is cleaned and dried properly. Put it back in place. Caution: if debris remains on the surface of the wings and insulators, as well as traces of dirt that are not removed, insist that it be thoroughly cleaned because it can cause a drop in voltage and efficiency of the filter even 50% in humid conditions. Wash the A1 filter and the “T” oil aluminium filter (fig.4) in the same way. If the filter is not maintained in accordance with the instructions given here, the company assumes no responsibility for any failure, malfunction or shortening of the filter life.
