Sinatra Live At The Sands

John Bishop: Live The Sunshine Tour

Stephen Triffitt offers a glimpse of the genius that was Frank Sinatra in the most famous and hard-swinging live performance of his career, when he joined forces with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas.

The multi-award-winning comedian and star of Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Roadshow, Skins, Mock The Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats, returns to Wycombe Swan to perform his brand-new show.

Backed by a full size 17-piece Big Band Orchestra, Stephen Triffitt recreates all this with warmth, style, good humour and above all, an exquisite transformation into Sinatra.

‘Bishop has funny bones’

‘As Sinatra, Triffitt’s strength is in his faithful re-creation of Old Blue Eyes’ mannerisms, voice and phrasing… you’d swear you’re listening to the original.’ Pittsburgh Tribune

The Times

‘Frankly hilarious’ The Telegraph

‘I can't help falling in love with this open, optimistic show’ Guardian

Kate Rusby is the defining voice of Contemporary English Folk Music. Kate’s exquisite interpretation of traditional songs and finely wrought self-penned tunes have won her an audience that reaches beyond the genre. This is a rare achievement for a folk artist but entirely understandable given Kate’s expressive vocals that invest whatever she sings with irresistible emotional depth. Her bands never cease to amaze, always comprising the cream of Britain’s folk instrumentalists, while her between-song stories and introductions are cut through with a hugely engaging Yorkshire wit.
