Your local theatre... Meet Wycombe Swan’s New Theatre Director… This is such an exciting time to be joining the team at the Wycombe Swan as the new Theatre Director. It’s a wonderful theatre and from talking to audiences over my first few weeks I’ve gained a real sense of how fondly it is thought of by local people, and what an important part it plays in the cultural life of the region. Just as important are the events and activities that happen in the Town Hall and Oak Room. After Christmas we will be closing these spaces to begin a programme of refurbishment.

a first rate space for performances, conferences and entertaining. So by spring next year we will have even more opportunities to deliver an exciting programme of activities – the traditional auditorium of the Swan Theatre presenting the best in touring musical theatre, drama and comedy; The Town Hall offering flexible settings for up to 600 people; and The Oak Room providing a prestigious function room for up to 120 people. And across all of our spaces we will be providing our trademark first-rate catering and hospitality service. I look forward to sharing these exciting times with you. TUE 16 – SAT 20 JULY The Old Vic and West End smash-hit Noises Off comes to Wycombe Swan following its triumphant and critically acclaimed sell-out run in London. Hurtling along at breakneck speed it follows the backstage antics of a touring theatre company as they stumble their way through rehearsals in Weston-super-Mare, to a shambolic Wednesday matinee in Ashton-under-Lyne, and a final disastrous performance in Stockton-on-Tees. Cast includes Neil Pearson (Monroe, Between the Lines, Drop the Dead Donkey, Bridget Jones’ Diary), Maureen Beattie (TV credits include Lewis, The Bill, Taggart, Casualty); David Bark-Jones, Simon Bubb, Danielle Flett, Geoffrey Freshwater, Chris Larkin, Thomasin Rand and Sasha Waddell.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL

©2007 Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (©2008 Theatres for Theatres) Registered charity no. 23582

Since October 2010 HQ Theatres, alongside its sister company Qdos Entertainment, has been raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Theatres for Theatres Appeal. To date we have raised £390,000 for the appeal which aims to build new state-of-the-art operating theatres at the hospital, which treats very sick children from across the UK.

This money has been raised through the generosity of our audiences and the staff of the Wycombe Swan Theatre who have taken part in various fund-raising events and activities. We will continue to support the Theatres for Theatres Appeal and your ongoing support is greatly appreciated. On behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital, a huge thank you.
