Oakhurst Garden - Our flagship garden in the Oakhurst neighborhood Established in 1997 and located in the City of Decatur, Oakhurst Garden is the oldest of Wylde Center’s gardens It was established to create a safe place for children in the community to explore nature and to grow and prepare produce. The inviting 1.25 acres is now used for field trips, events, and neighborhood enjoyment 435 Oakview Road, Decatur, GA 30030
Sugar Creek Garden - Tucked away garden in the Oakhurst neighborhood Added to the Wylde Center in 2010 and located in the City of Decatur, Sugar Creek Garden is a one-acre greenspace that is used as a community garden, a farm, and a site for native plant restoration 415 East Lake Drive, Decatur, GA 30030
Hawk Hollow Garden - Native garden in the Kirkwood neighborhood This enchanted greenspace was donated to Wylde Center in 2012 by a contractor who could not use it to build houses. (The land is an active floodplain ) The space is used extensively for field trips (2,000 students annually!), and by the Atlanta community who enjoy access to a stream, Hobbit Houses, and open areas for play 2304 1st Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30317
Edgewood Community Learning Garden - Education garden in Edgewood Wylde Center assumed the management of this City of Atlanta garden in 2012 in partnership with a local foundation The site is used extensively by the community, as a destination for our field trips, and for events. The garden is also the home of Wylde Center's afterschool program, focusing on gardening and cooking 1503 Hardee Street, Atlanta, GA 30307
Mulberry Fields Garden - Goats? Why yes!
Named after a beloved goat of times past, Mulberry Fields is an acre of open meadow, mulberry groves, flower gardens, and towering old pecan trees It offers an accessible greenspace for recreation, environmental education, community building, and organic growing A haven for urban wildlife, the garden also shelters neighborhood hawks, owls, bluebirds, and a variety of woodpecker species. 1301 Iverson Street, Atlanta, GA 30307
Wylde Center's gardening classes are held throughout the year and feature a wide range of programs that are timed with the gardening year. A Garden Series sponsor will receive repeated views on Wylde Center's social media and through direct marketing. Our program email announcements consistently receive the most views, click throughs, and feedback. We reach a broad audience and draw views and participants from the metro-Atlanta region and beyond. *On average, we host 1 to 2 classes monthly.
More than 600 people attend garden classes annually. They are held both in person and through virtual webinars.
Wylde Center's Farm to School Program
This program introduces students to new foods, increases their knowledge of where food comes from, and instills a love and respect for the outdoors. In addition, the program provides students with a welcoming greenspace at both their schools and homes. Programs take place in the City Schools of Decatur and the Atlanta Public Schools, and include school garden programming, garden coaching, taste tests, field trips, and Summer internships. Farm to School sponsors have a direct impact on the students we work with every day.
F2S High School Intern Program - Farm, Market, Restaurant
Since 2012, Wylde Center has offered farm to school internships for Decatur and Atlanta High School students The students work 60 hours and receive a $500 stipend They split their time between working on a farm and working in a restaurant that serves locally sourced produce or at a farmers market Businesses may sponsor more than one student
The Decatur Farm to School Newsletter is printed three times per year and sent home with every Decatur pre-K to 5th grade student The newsletter includes content covering the latest DF2S in the schools. Businesses that place an ad in this publication will be seen by more than 3,000 Decatur households. NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Farm to School Dine-Out at Decatur area restaurants
Every year restaurants join Wylde Center's Decatur Farm to School's Spring and Fall dine out For one evening, hundreds of families order food for dine-in or take-out and the restaurant donates a percentage of its proceeds. The proceeds in turn support all of DF2S' initiatives including Summer internships, scholarships to send students to conferences, taste test materials, in class instruction, and more Sponsors of this event receive broad Decatur visibility prior to, during, and after the event takes place
Farm to School Grant Program
Wylde Center supports individual farm to school initiatives at schools in Decatur and Atlanta with annual mini-grants. Teachers apply, a committee reviews, and $500 grants are awarded to school projects A sponsor of this program will have a direct impact in one or more schools and receive public recognition for their support on social media, printed materials, and at a Wylde Center garden

Seed and Scion Exchange
February 2023
Wylde Center kicks off its event year with our annual Seed and Scion Exchange. Over 200 people come together to share seeds they have saved or their extras In exchange, they get to pick from the seed available to take home and try in their garden The Atlanta Fruit Club also sets up a station for all things fruit trees, including handing out scion stock for new fruit-bearing trees. The free event pulls attendees from over across metro-Atlanta.

The plant sale is Wylde Center's largest fundraiser, spanning months and attracting gardeners from across metro-Atlanta. The majority of shoppers live in 30030, 30307, and 30317 ZIP codes.
Over the course of the season, more than 2,000 purchases are made. Many of the plants sold are grown at our Oakhurst Garden.
Plant Sale sponsors will be connected to the Plant Sale festival in April.
Earth Day
April 21, 2023 Edgewood Community Learning Garden
Join the Wylde Center as we celebrate the 53nd anniversary of Earth Day with a family-friendly festival on Friday, April 21 from 4-7 PM at our Edgewood Community Learning Garden. The festival includes fun activities for the entire family and a chance to spend a lovely afternoon in one of our gardens.

Live music , a kids corner, food, drink, and plenty of space to toss down a picnic blanket, Mulberry Fields Gone Wylde celebrates this unique garden in the Candler Park neighborhood. With over 200 attendees, our business partners receive repeated exposure leading up to, during, and post event.
S'mores for All at 4 Locations
Winter 2023 & Fall 2023 - Winter 2024
S'mores events will be held January - February 2023 and October 2023 - February 2024 These events have long been a favorite for our attendees, with the numbers growing each year S'mores for All is a fun way for our business partners to connect with our participants Each event will draw around 100 families, and we provide extensive visibility for our partners.

Two Weeks in November & December 2023
Edgewood Community Learning Garden, Atlanta (30307)
Wylde Wreaths has become a beloved holiday event attracting groups of friends, siblings, mother/daughter pairs, and couples. Attendees gather at our Edgewood Garden or for pick-up to take home at our Oakhurst Garden on their designated evening where they decorate their wreath with natural materials provided by Wylde Center. We always end up adding dates because they all sell out. A business who sponsors this event will enjoy repeat exposure over the two weeks of the actual event and also leading up to the event.
