zuellig, 2012
Taken at Makati City, PH
This photo was taken while I was on a cab ride with my mother. The central structure is I believe the first ever smart building that was built in the Philippines. If the lines were any thinner, you won’t even see the building.
unknown bldg, 2013 Taken at Seattle, WA
There’s something about how the lights and shadows interact with each other that at times makes you look twice to figure out how things are arranged. I have yet to capture a better example.
big zigs, 2013
Taken at Seattle, WA
This house, if ever it is one, has so many amazing patterns. I already have two photographs of the same structure and one can’t even tell that they were taken from the same spot. Lines, patterns, lights, shadows all the good stuff.
trees, 2012
Taken at Fort Bonifacio, PH
I stumbled upon this scene on my way to work one morning - city people were about to plant trees that would help make the environment better. Although, this was the same lot where the smokers lurked during their breaks.
hunger, 2013
Taken at Cornish College of the Arts, WA
This photograph was taken during my Color Theory class, where we were discussing how the color red induces certain emotions and behaviors. I believe this was also the same time when The Strokes released Comedown Machine, with promotional materials that feature silhouettes of Jules, Nick, Fab, Nikolai, and Albert on a red background.
sample collection, 2012 Taken at NCR, PH
This photograph was taken while I was on field work - it must have been the last name of the family that owned this gate. Not sure if they were designers but I think this looks pretty well done.
