Patterned after the Mystic Krewe of Barkus in New Orleans, which was established to help abused and abandoned canines, Krewe of Barkus will feature a parade, vendor booths, and interactive activities. Walks begin promptly at 8 a.m. and last 1.5 hours. Walks are included in regular admission and free for Heard Museum members. These bird walks are intended to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques. There will also be plenty of opportunity for questions.
