Latest News MANAGER’S THOUGHTS Tough game against Moore United on Saturday, they are lot more experienced than most sides in our league. A lot of their players have been at the club for a long time and know what the Cheshire League is all about. Most of our players have never played Cheshire League football but I’m really happy with the lads’ attitude and application to every game and training, we never let our standards drop, there is a strong togetherness in the group and we approach every game with the same strong mental attitude. The group have just got to keep the intensity up and this will keep the good run going. Things are slowly coming together off the pitch; we have ongoing enquiries about floodlights and new standing and seating areas. This is the start of an exciting time to be at Wythenshawe Town FC Lee McGregor 1st Team Manager WTFC

Chairman’s Chat It may be early in the season to be talking about habits but winning at this club has now become one. The days of putting the Wythenshawe Town shirt on for a game of football have gone; it’s all about the win. It’s about being proud. The teams are focused on winning games, the management don’t accept anything else, the players themselves have that winning mentality. I would like to think this is the feeling felt within the club by our supporters sand members and that you are all enjoying as I am, the commitment and football being played at our fantastic club. Ben Connolly is leading the pack as the top goal scorer, I am sure Brookesy will have his say in that trophy by the end of the season. Dean McGregor was awarded player of the month for September, well done guys. We are starting a fanzone in the programme for you to have your say, please get involved and support the lads and most importantly support the club. We are on a journey together, Wythenshawe should have a semi-pro football club, we are equipped on the field and almost there off the field. Together we can make history, we are looking for volunteers to get involved and get on board with our journey. Anyone who is interested please speak to any of the managers or myself. Enjoy the game and thank you for your support. Kenny Hope WTFC Chairman
