Mull Rally is keeping its foot on the consultation pedal.

A new email address is

being set up “at residents@ mullrally.org for people to get in touch with event organisers.

With 2022 rally dates set for October 13 to October 16, 19 responses came back from an initial consultation across the island - four had no real concerns, three were giving feedback and 12 replies needed more of a response, said Richard Crozier giving an update at Mull Community Council recently. ‘We’re moving more from consultation to more on-going residents’ liaison now,’ he said. The next offi cial stage of planning will be to apply for an event permit. That will be followed by an application to Argyll and Bute Council

for road closures. A rally guide will be out in June or July, then in August all island residents will get sent We’re moving a pack containing full details more from of the rally and useful conconsultation to tacts. more on-going Mull Community Council convenor Tom Nelson said: residents’ liaison ‘Keep up the consultation now and communications with everyone.’ The rally’s Gordon Milne said organisers would also be putting more in place this year in terms of a post-event clear up. Litter and behaviour will also be a focus.
