The purpose of this project is to design an environment from within without a given and constraining footprint. The conSngencies of the surrounding site will eventually influence final exterior enclosure form, configuraSon, and character.

LAYOUT DECISION Three “acSvity boxes” share an exterior space - courtyard. Each box represents one acSvity, applied with a different degree of transparency corresponding to the privacy level and the user’s relaSonship.

CASE STUDY The case studies focus on analysis and synthesis of verScal and horizontal enclosure system, and the interior environment that was creaSng the percepSon of privacy, trust, security, sSmulaSon and delight experiences related to user relaSonships, producSvity, and emoSonal responses. The survey serves as the preparaSon of the ďŹ nal project.
