I don't want to create a cool magazine. Because I don't think trying to be cool is cool. I want things to come naturally, just as they are. So you can feel them, fresh and live and raw. I always want 404 Page to be a fun magazine, the magazine that makes you giggle while you are reading it, the magazine that you can come back to when you feel blue.

So here are the questions: What is art? What is science? What is the difference between art & science? What is the real ‘real’? What is the fake ‘real’? How should I live? What sort of person should I be?What is beautiful? And what is ugly? What is individual creativity, and what is manipulation? Why do we always want to be accepted by others?

YOU R

WA R D R O B E WRITTEN BY HARU WILDE PHOTOGRAPH BY MEIWEN

One thing I learnt during my time assisting a curator of a contemporary art gallery is that curation is creation. Artworks do not exist in a vacuum, they are a part of an interpretative framework put together by the curator. The way we perceive art is influenced by the way it is displayed just as much as by the way it is made. Now, imagine your wardrobe as a gallery space, each piece of clothing as an art piece, and yourself as the curator of that space. Fashion just like art is a form of communication. What we wear everyday influences not only the way we feel about ourselves but it also sends a certain message to the people around us. It can raise important questions and make people think. And the way curators approach art can actually inspire the way we approach fashion, and by extension our life as a whole, too. Here are three things we can learn from gallery curators.
