The vast majority of the architectures lying in Bold Street is in traditional British style and express a strong sense of local history. Hence, it is important to reference the surroundings to avoid disturbing the existing atomasphere. However, it should still has its own features of being a contemporary medical architecture. In the building, there are four doctor’s consulting rooms with two nursing rooms near to them to support, a small operating theater, a antenatal classroom, a multifunction room, and other ancillary space like toilets.

Historical Study
Bold street used to be known as ‘Rope Walk’, as it was laid out as a roapwalk, which was a long thin area that was used in the manufacture of rope. people would measure the rope from the top of the street to the bottom, because it was the standard length needed for sailing ship, which is why it is central to the Rope Walks area.
1897
take a look at Bold street following the Second World War. it appears that life has returned to the normal in the city, but at the top of the street St Luke’s Church is now a symble of the destruvtion from the Liverpool Blitz 1941, which is why it is now called by many as the Bombed Out Church.
in the photo, the view of Bold street in 1953 is shown. Bold street was being decorated by workers. by the side a lot of people walked around the street, and cars passed through. this photo shows how the Bold street looks when it was occupied with people.

here you can see just how Bold street, Berry street and Renshaw street looked back in 1956, near 69 years ago. the image may seem a little strange to those who know the area well, because you can’t walk done the street nowadays without seeing a considerable crowd and car.
from one festival photo, here is Bold street during Chrismas 1972. cars in the street with their festival shopping, whilst floral flowers and angels bring some festival cheer to Bold street.
the 1988 Bold street photograph most likely look a lot more familiar, as it is live with human activities. the only difference is the clothing and perms.
