Having graduated with a Master degree in architecture from the National University of Singapore in 2007, I have since worked for 3.5 years in Singapore and 1 year in Shanghai. I have acquired experience in a variety of projects, ranging from master planning, hospitality, mixed-use to residential. I have always been actively involved in designing and managing projects. I enjoy travelling and living overseas and thus made the decision to move to Shanghai in 2010 to attain more diverse experience and exposure to China projects. There, I worked in a local design firm in which I undertook a role in master planning and interior renovation projects and at the same time helped with coordination with the local consultants. As a designer, my professional ethos is to be responsible and ethical with regards to the social and environmental impact of my design. I believe that every project should be sensitive to the site and surrounding while taking into consideration of the needs of the users. My aspiration is to pursue such a holistic approach that can engender improvement to the existing environment.
