This project is set in an existed multilevel building, located between Reade and Duane Street in downtown Manhattan. The location is about a dozen blocks away from Wall Street, with convenient traffic around its community.

The concept of the furniture is “discover the space. The single piece of wood board elongates, twists then attaches to different surfaces in a 3-D space. Individual piece of furniture is able to create relationships bewteen various surfaces. The inspiration is from the CCTV Building in Beijing that the architect Koolhaas used “multi-dimension space” as his design concept. The spacially extended structure really moves me.
