Life Experience Hall
Jinan, China
This experience hall serves as an additional venue on the path to worship Buddhas, experiencing various states of life through spaces. Happiness and misfortune are both fleeting, alternating between great joy and great sorrow. Rather than placing hopes in Buddhas for psychological comfort, it is hoped to help people see the truth of life to be well in the present moment.

Japan's greying dilemma is expected to outweigh all other nations. We use high street culture as an entry point. Bridging the communication gap between different generations and making older generations enjoy high streets like everyone else is an issue that needs to be addressed.
Takeshita street is the birthplace of Japanese Kawai culture and has become a trendy mecca for young people. The street is now full of commercialism.
ETIQUETTE OF JUNIORS TO ELDERS DESIGN MASSING DEVELOPMENT
In Asia, people are taught to treat the elders with absolute respect, which makes people feel that elders are unapproachable. We choose to break down barriers between people by obscuring their visual senses.

Considering the surroundings, a trapezoidal block is placed.

another volume into the current block. Slice walls are added to screen the courtyard. Determine the entrance location based on the flow of people. Distribute functions according to the site. people's view through vapour Block people's view through darknessThe capsule hotel uses openings in different directions to produce a “chat room” for people to communicate equally by voice without knowing each other’s appearance.
In the sento, individuals take away the external objects that symbolize status and wealth. The steam in the room obscures people's view, making it easier for people to communicate wholeheartedly.
Shadow animation show is produced in an enclosed room and projected in the café, which means the audience cannot see the appearance of the producer of the show but only his or her thoughts. Here we are trying to produce a way for different generations can communicate equally despite status, outlook, age, and gender.
In this way, communication between different generations can be easier. Remove people’s stereotypes of old people being conventional, rigid, and bored in the first place. Individuals would be more likely to meet each other as soul mates.

The project aims to revitalize the declining local ceramic culture. It is hoped that the design of this Ceramic Culture Experience Exhibition Centre can help promote ceramic art, provide more jobs for artists, and enhance residents' cultural pride.
Historical Collage of Stoke-on-trent
North Staffordshire was found to have underground deposits of clay and coal.
The pioneers learned the fine technique of decorating ceramics with blue and white flowers from Jingdezhen, China.
The new trend in the city is to turn industry heritage into art studios.
Vitality factors
With the rise of the British Empire, the pioneers of Stoke-on-Trent came together to exchange new ideas for maximum mutual benefit.
Factories pass through generations. However, as the market for ceramics is dwindling, grandchildren no longer want to operate the industry.
Many residents don’t like to live in Stoke on Trent “There is nothing going on here.”
What is the future of Stoke-on-trent? How to bring the city back to life? How to make people stay?
In the design, we add cafe to help drive the local economy and enrich people's daily entertainment.

Stand-Up Comedy in the UK
Stand-up comedy originated in Britain and flourished in the United States. In 1979, the Comedy Store was opened in London. The stand-up comedy circuit rapidly expanded from London across the UK. Standup comedy is believed to have been performed originally as a one-man show.
Sheffield Entertainment Status
Sheffield is jokingly referred to as Sheffield Village by students. It has a drama theatre, a stadium, trams, and peak districts, but does not have any comedy-related industries. It is suitable for living, with low living expenses, but also known as boring to young people.
Open-mic Practice new jokes in front of audiences.
Where can we practice our stand-up skills?
Where can we go afterclass?
Outdoor Stage Practice impromptu interaction with the audience.
Auditorium

Site Analysis
Sheffield, also nicknamed "Sheffield Village" by international students, is a city with a slow pace of life and relatively few entertainment performances. Due to its location far away from London, the weak development of the local entertainment industry also makes it difficult for beginner comedians to get on stage.
Our site is located on London Road, which is the high street in Sheffield and has a very famous pub culture. The UK is the birthplace of standup comedy, where there is wine, there should be stand-up comedy.

Process of Worship the Buddha
Life and Reincarnation
Reincarnation, a Buddhist term, means that all beings live and die, and after death, the soul is reincarnated as another human being, spinning like a wheel in an endless cycle.
The more disappointments people experience, the more they look to the power of God and Buddha. They climb to the top of the mountain, make a wish to the Buddha, offer a pillar of incense to show their devotion, and down the mountain still with a sense of confusion about their future.
However, life is full of "ups" and "downs". Compared to the long river of life, happiness and upsets are momentary. What people need to do is stop dwelling on temporary misfortunes and see the truth of life, so that they can live every second of it.
The Concept of "GuiXu"
The ancient Chinese book "The Classic of the Mountains and the Seas" is written about a place called "GuiXu". It is an abyssal chasm in the deep sea. It is the place where all things finally belong, where reincarnation takes place.
Life begins and ends with the sound of crying. Most of the worries and struggles in life come from dissatisfaction. And dissatisfaction drives the soul back to the point of origin and reincarnation.
There is no turning back in life, so there is no turning back in this hall either. This is the end of the experience, and I wish you all well.
