The impact of climate change is a concern for many people nowadays. In the case of global warming, it may lead to a rise in sea level, which may then flood the cities by the sea first. The aim of this project is to solve the problems caused by climate change in the seaside cities by providing a system of transport devices that will facilitate the residents and travellers of the area, while relieving them of the problems caused by rising sea levels.

[Historical development]

Early xiamen lateral bend is a crescent peninsula and the gulf, outside the bay has a long and narrow sandbar, reason has jade ShaPo beauty said, jade ShaPo descending and ShaPo two segments.

[Shorine cheange]

With global warming, the sea level will rise, which will inundate the land, and coastal cities will be greatly affected.

Xiamen is part of Fujian Province, located on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, bordering Zhangzhou to the south and Quanzhou to the north, making it a typical coastal city. Sha Po Mei is located in the Siming District on the island of Xiamen and is bordered by the sea to the southwest.

[The main problems]

In 1730, xiamen military shipyard, workshops, in this article, the dawn road area after moved to ShaPo tail, give priority to in order to build ships.

According to published in 1946, the observatory in xiamen, xiamen shipbuilding industry thriving, according to the fishery activity focused on ShaPo tail area. Later, xiamen aquatic products shipyard was established at the original site of Shapo Tail shipyard.

As a commercial district with an artistic atmosphere, Sha Po Mei is a must-see for many visitors to Xiamen, so the parking area in the venue is now very large. It's

Xiamen ShaPo tail dock wind modification may be defined as "ShaPo tail sea port of cultural creativity." Plan it into a thriving cultural industry agglomeration area, make it from the edge of a city will soon be forgotten community transformed into a city in different populations can be in the club of the new community.

Shapowei is now a collection of sculpture, pottery, printmaking, costume design, handmade woodwork, animation, music, paper art, video and other artistic elements, in the form of studio free open to the public, people here to enjoy afternoon tea and belong to the old taste of Xiamen.

Apart from its artistic ambience, Sha Po Mei has a unique Xiamen cavalcade style of architecture, with the original residents living above and commercial shops below. There is clearly not enough living space for the residents and the streets are somewhat chaotic with clothes drying and piles of debris.

Because the road is so narrow, when there is a lot of foot traffic in Sha Po Mei, there will be pedestrians walking onto the road will cause a blockage of cars.

The first functional zone is located in the northwest part of the site. The current situation of the site is that there is a large parking area and the site is still under construction.

The second functional zone is located in the northeast part of the site. Basically, there are arcade buildings unique to Xiamen. Local people live here and many art shops choose to set up shop here.

The third functional zone is located in the southeast part of the site. There are lots of parking lots and art fairs where college students set up stalls and sell handmade art because it's so close to the university campus.

The route of the vehicle is basically on the outside of the site, and there are three entrances to enter the site and park.

Electric vehicles can basically travel anywhere in the venue, and overlap with the routes of people and cars.

There are a total of three large parking lots inside the venue, all of which cover a large area for the current tourists to park.

The site lacks a large public space for activities and at the same time can provide quality and affordable living conditions for the students who come to start their own business, thus better developing the area. Retaining the existing unique cavalcade architecture of Xiamen and providing the original residents with more sanctuary through the installation.

[Major functional area]

This is a viewing platform at the top, and people can choose to take the elevator to the top to enjoy the sea view.

This part is the final assembly of the device.

This part is the final assembly of the items needed in the installation and transported to the upper level. At the same time, the column from bottom to top in the middle of the installation is a sightseeing elevator, and people can take the elevator to this floor to take the cable car.

This widget is divided into four parts: residence, leisure, entertainment and public services, and the required combination of parts is transferred to the corresponding box for further assembly.

This small part assembles parts and transports the assembled parts to the four sorting boxes on the upper floor.

2. Retain the original building and the nature of use, so that the original residents can continue to live here, and install devices to improve the quality of life of the residents.

1. Park—Utilize the original parking lot to provide residents and tourists with a place for activities and recreation.

This widget is used to collect and store parts, to sort parts.

The gradual deterioration of the environment is having an increasing impact on our lives, and this is due in large part to the way people are living now. The aim of this project is to balance and improve the entire ecosystem while protecting the eels. The whole system will work to bring about a better environment and a better life for the local community.

# EELS ARE ENDANGERED

Throughout eastern Asia, eel larvae (glass eels) are intensively captured for use in aquaculture. The cost of artificial incubation and nurture is high, and a commercially viable system has yet to be developed.Consequently, the supply of eels for aquaculture for food depends entirely on the harvesting of wild-born stock.

# ARTIFICIALLY FARMED EELS

#BLACK-MARKET RAMPANT

Young eels, called glass eels, are caught in the wild. And to breed eels entirely in captivity is very costly . No farm can effectively breed eels in captivity. Farmers therefore rely on the capture of young eels to make a profit.

FEEDING

The method we use is a mineral enrichment device or an electrified artificial reef device, or electrified artificial reef (traditionally known as a Biorock). This creates a process with the water known as electrolysis, which provides cathodic protection for the structure from rust or corrosion and further causes minerals in the seawater to precipitate out and collect on the metal. This action creates a favourable environment for the growth of corals and other calcium carbonate-secreting organisms. The growth of calcium carbonate-secreting organisms creates a favourable environment and these organisms tend to grow on these structures grow much faster (up to 3-5 times faster).

03 Double considerations

Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China 2022.09-2022.11

individual work

With increasing population density, how do we solve the problems posed by the old houses left behind. When the new crown epidemic arrives in 2019, the more communal as well as denser urban villages will bring more adverse effects. The aim of this project is to improve life in urban villages during normal times as well as during epidemics.

But with that, we become surrounded by more and more people

There are also more and more people who want to come and live in the city and have a better quality of life

URBAN DEVELOPMENT

SHEN ZHEN

Nowadays, cities are growing rapidly and many high-rise buildings are being built rapidly for people to use

But since the epidemic swept the world, the high density of cities seems to have affected people's lives

Our houses here are very cheap and must be affordable for working people who are just working.

But the toilets and the kitchen are all communal.

CITIES

There is an urban encirclement of the countryside, where former houses are difficult to demolish and new high-rise buildings are rapidly being built.

Shenzhen is located in Guangdong Province, China, which is the fastest growing city in China since the reform and opening up. The city also has a small land area, so the choice of venue was locked in Shenzhen.

Public toilets and kitchens must no longer be used as they increase the risk of infection.

ISSUES ARISING

Because the buildings are so close to each other, the air does not circulate well, increasing the risk of infection

Because when the epidemic is closed at home, there are not enough safe public spaces in the neighbourhood to move around and use. It is also more difficult to deliver the necessities of daily life to your home.

Until 2019, urban density does not seem to have too bad an impact on people's daily lives

The approval of Shenzhen as a special economic zone in 1980 was the first to implement reform and opening up, the most influential and best built special economic zone in China.

ISSUES ARISING

The 53-storey Shenzhen World Trade Center, the tallest building in China at the time, was completed in 1985, creating the "Shenzhen speed" of building a floor in three days and becoming a symbol of the rapid economic development of the Shenzhen SAR.

In just 40 years, Shenzhen has developed from a small frontier city into a modern cosmopolitan city with a GDP second only to Beijing and Shanghai. However, the small size of Shenzhen's land and the rapid pace of development have also resulted in a tight supply of land.

Because of the rapid urban development and demand, many of the original villages have not been able to keep up with the development of the city, leading to the emergence of URBAN VILLAGES. Many problems have also been exposed.

SUMMARY: The environment and infrastructure in urban villages is generally poor and the building density is high, resulting in poor lighting and ventilation in the houses. At the same time, there is less public space in the whole urban village, which makes it difficult to meet people's daily activities

BACKGROUND VILLAGE

Site interior analysis

Blue is the part of the urban village where these buildings are also known as pull-out buildings because of the close spacing between them.

Most of the people living here are commuters.

This is an area of villas, where the first villagers lived in the area. It is relatively spacious and is now largely inhabited by landlords from the blue area.

Status of residential buildings

It is probably inhabited by landlords from the blue area, a large proportion of whom were original villagers in the earliest days.

Design strategy

This site is currently a vacant lot and is still under construction.

It is also home to a number of companies and shops.

These lower buildings in the surrounding area are a number of companies and industrial parks.

Parking analysis

Traffic analysis

Add breezeways between each of the pullout buildings.

The whole space is somewhat cramped because of the narrow alleyways in the residential area. So create primary and secondary roads.

Status of Traffic and Parking

The sterile passageway has a helicopter lift to reach each floor. Allow for some connection between streets.

The current state of the site is very confusing in terms of parking, basically there are cars parked wherever there is open space and it is clear that the open space as well as parking issues are not well planned.

Open space analysis

The site is currently confusing and does not have a complete transport system. The roads out and in are also not well differentiated.

Surrounding Facilities

Traffic chaos as people and vehicles mix Cars are parked indiscriminately and more open spaces are used as car parks.

Design strategy

This open space is relatively large and is currently in a state of pending construction. It is immediately adjacent to an existing green space that now exists.

There are many factories and companies in the vicinity, as well as a number of other amenity shops, such as restaurants and supermarkets. There are also many shops along the street, and the surrounding area is well equipped.

Consolidation of parking on the site and prohibition of vehicle parking in the open space. Retain three car parking spaces.

1. The distance between residential buildings is too close to each other, resulting in poor lighting and ventilation.

2. The living environment is less hygienic and prone to bacteria.

3. It is more difficult to transport supplies in the event of an epidemic.

The creation of sterile passageways, with lifts to each floor. Not only does it help with ventilation, but it also enables the use of conveyor belts to transport sterile materials.

The use of a first floor indent to widen the width of the main road also brings some convenience to people in their daily lives.

People would actually like to have more activities in the available open space

Separate human and car traffic, with cars going directly into the parking building. Temporary access to the pavement can be requested in advance in exceptional circumstances. Leave the middle of the road open to car traffic and the pedestrian access on both sides can continue to be used.

Design of the applications

2.In order to make better use of our site for the residents here, we have chosen to make better use of the open space with an app

Use of open space

1.Classify the open spaces on the site, mainly into smaller, finer open spaces and those with larger open spaces

STEP 4 :

4.Putting squares together by rotating and moving them when needed

6.It can be used separately in case of an epidemic and can also have a protective cover to act as a safety guard

Design of fixed areas and original green spaces

The inhabitants here are basically not from here, so they treat the people and things here as strangers

Hopefully there is somewhere here where they can interact more, find their like-minded friends and make themselves less lonely in this city.

Not only will the service be provided, but also the tables and chairs. It is a place to rest after a workout, and it also gives more people a place to make friends and talk.

There is room for more types of activities, with the option of a greener site. Open spaces are also available for activities.

individual work

There are more and more cases of juvenile delinquency nowadays, and many young people have psychological distortions that cause them to commit crimes due to many reasons in their families and society. The aim of this project is to help those young people who have committed a crime to be able to heal and learn more skills so that they do not become disconnected from society.

04

Discovering social issues

There are numerous cases of juvenile delinquency, but little attention is paid to them.

Juvenile issues

Please prevent juvenile delinquency in advance!

Australia's youth crime rate continues to rise and experts say 'jail time' may not be enough to deter crime. Official crime figures show a surge in juvenile crime in Australia in 2020, with a worrying increase in the number of cases classified as 'serious offences'. Experts believe that the mental health problems associated with the closure of new cities are the main cause of the surge in crime.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistic, the number of young people sentenced for homicide and related offences increased from 32 in 2019 to 50 in 2020 including three 13-year-old boys.

Family reasons are the dominant factor and the way a family is brought up has a major impact on the development of a young person. If a family's education style is pathological, then young people in that family are likely to take the path of no return to crime.

2.Social environment reasons

Data from the ABS report shows that between 2019 and 2020, 1,120 young Australians aged between 10 and 17 will be charged with weapons or explosives offences, while 3,831 will be prosecuted for illegal drugs. There were 17,710 young offenders aged 10 to 17 years in NSW in the reporting period, representing 15 per cent of all offences.

1.Solitary confinement of a child

There will now be juvenile facilities in Australia where children as young as 10 are held in solitary confinement, and even some adult prisons have juveniles. It does not provide good educational conditions and environment for juveniles.

2.Young people have a problem with abuse

However, the incidence of juvenile delinquency is increasing year on year.

Location

Subjected to verbal abuse and racist remarks, and bound in potentially dangerous ways. Not only does it not help young people educationally, but it also does not improve them psychologically.

The dangers of an unhealthy social culture are profound for young people who are less resistant to temptation. Things like the criminal process shown in some films and movies and the corrupting views of characters' language may induce young people to commit crimes.

It may create a psychological void in the child and form a psychological disorder.

3.Schooling reasons

Pre-figuration concept

After a preliminary survey, it was found that the design of the JUVENILE FACILITY wanted to have some good healing for the psychological problems of the young people and the shape of the building wanted to be more curved.

Inappropriate school education methods are an important factor leading some young people to drift into society and to crime. The main problems with school education nowadays are: the guiding ideology of one-sided pursuit of higher education rates. The lack of legal education or the lack of formality.

Juvenile delinquency has become a widespread social problem in Australia, with crime on the rise and jail time feared to be an incomplete deterrent to crime. The Australian government says that the YOUTH CRIME community is the most violent group in Australia.

The curves provide a more relaxed feel

Curved spaces allow for a more relaxed and secure mood.

Curved spaces can be intimate and allow for relaxed concentration on a task.

Again, it makes for a more pleasant mood. Straight spaces may make people more alert.

The curves bring a sense of softness, which makes them more approachable and helps young people to open their hearts.

The ground floor is mainly a space for classes and activities where parents of young people can visit their children on a regular basis and interact with them. The rooms are not only for classes, but also for psychological help.

The first floor is a relatively quiet space, using the circular space as a dormitory for juveniles and as a resting place for prison officers.

This is the view from the café where teenagers can talk to each other and the friends they make here, as well as make some enquiries with the police officers.

This is a view from the library steps where youngsters can study as well as read their favourite books. Again this is to give them a quiet space to relax.

The building is designed with the hope that every young person, even when in a juvenile facility, will be able to heal spiritually. At the same time, there are courses for them so that they can have better skills to stand in society when they get out. They can take classes, explore their interests and even live with the guards in the institution. I hope that they will all have a better future.
