VISUAL DISLOCATION - Big Data City: Machine Thinking Urbanism Group work, MArch Urban Design

This section of research highlights on the computational measure to amalgamate different urban layers to examine the change in the perceptual environment. More we dig in to the microenvironment, the complexities and difficulties increases.

This mode of computer simulation helps to solve complex problems and can build intricate relationships between data layers that are often unstructured and unlinked to each other. On the lines of Deep learning, Neural Network (NN) toolkit are the set of algorithms recognising patterns whilst mimicking the human brain. The internal structuring of Neural Network are compared to human cognitive systems.

Here, we aim to derive a computer simulation to establish relationship for a small area between its Visual preferences, spatial arrangements and social performance.

WUHAN GREENLAND SUPER-RISE TOWER research and design

Pair work, Bachelor Year five, 2018,3 - 6, Southeast University, Nanjing

Project Discription: Wuhan greenland tower is a 636-metre (1.699 ft), 83-story tower which is under construction in Wuhan. This project is studying super highrise tower activities and structure system to rebuild this tower in Wuhan.

Work Discription: This pair work was divided into two parts, I was mainly working on study and research of structure system and formation. The Research sample is 246 towers above 150 meters tall.

POKOU ART GALLERY - MEMORIAL TRAIN STATION RENO- VATION

Single Work, Bachelor Year three, 2015.11 - 2016.1, Southeast University, Nanjing

Project Description: The original building is an historical train station. This renovation design aim to continue site rhythm and give the station a new role as an art gallery. I decided to using the original station building as office and storage and add a new gallery space over station rainshed. The rain-shed also act as a exhibition in art space and it also reflects the direct sun light to produced a gentle light-environment for modern arts.

DALIAN GREENLAND SUPER-RISE TOWER

Summer Internship (2018.7-9) ECADI, Shanghai

Project Discription: Dalian greenland tower is a 518-metre (1.699 ft), 83-story megatall skyscraper in Dalian, Liaoning province. It has the record of being the highest building in north-east China.

Job Discription: Mainly participate in late stage construction drawing of section and details. Cordinate story heights and construction detail like fire window with structure engineer, HVAC engineer and electrical engineer. Particulaly help designed the structure and details of pool floor.
