Edinburgh Context
Edinburgh is one of the fastest growing cities in Scotland with population numbers expected to grow significantly over the next 20-25 years. This is increasing the demand for new housing, transport and schools as well as other amenities. It is also strengthening the demand for improving existing open spaces and creating new parks
Proposing: A Green And Blue System Loop
集 品
Three key interventions and its visons: Retrofitting green infrastructure on hard surfaces • Attractive places to live and work which are adapted to climate change • Provide a network of green spaces that allow biodiversity to thrive, and wildlife to migrate within, and across, city boundaries.
作
Edinburgh's green spaces are at a incontinuous and incontinuous states and facing pressing challenges such as climate changes, this project integrates green and blue networks to metigate these problems. This project proposing a inner loop base on the existing green space and official green belts. The loop in Edinrburgh urban incorporate the blue system (Water of Leith) and the existing green corridor. Not only that, by expanding habitat through key streets and regeneration of existing green space, it can develop into a growing system of green network. The connecting loop will provide a network of green spaces that allow biodiversity to thrive, and wildlife to migrate within, and across boundaries.

This project was developed in response to the 2019 City of Edinburgh's Future Park Aspirations. It aims to create a singular landscape, resilient and remarkable, a unique setting for a fertile city adapting to the new conditions of the socio-ecological transition.
Green space regeneration and multi-layers creation • Different kind of spaces with different potential s for human occupation and ecological biodiversity.• Biodiverse habitats supporting our wildlife to thrive •Accessible quality greenspace where people enjoy better health and wellbeing Community growing • Enhancement of the recreational and educational value of the city's green space • Empowered, knowledgeable communities • Improved health and wellbeing

2 Extend Habitat Of River
The built environment has an important part to play in supporting and enhancing biodiversity. Some species rely on buildings for nesting or roosting sites.
许
There is also a strong relationship bet ween the built and natural environment in relation to water and air quality. Surface water run-off from sealed surfaces such as roofs and roads can cause f looding and increase pollution in our rivers and burns. Having more unsealed areas such as green roofs, Sustainable Urban Drainage Schemes (SUDS), gardens and soft landscaping helps to slow water run-off and absorb pollutants before the water reaches our rivers.

The site located along the banks of the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge(Louisiana). Apart from the pollution of river itself, the river stage f luctuates around the year also be the main reason to blame for the current environmental decay, which further lead to the vegetation degradation, soil erosion, low dissolved oxygen levels and nutrient loading occurred and remain to this day. The design was combined by the multi-function device islands and the reshaped site terrain. Using the terrain to help islands filtration water and shield against f looding. The islands are the natural buffer for the mitigation of bank erosion control approach, stabilize it to gather the sediments and gradually, soil accumulate to create the lands in future. While the islands with the sediment of soil and concrete would be naturally growing in correspondent. This growing system also could apply as a protective system along Mississippi river, such solution as the growing process of islands would as creating the wetland islands and gradually convert to the natural protection of f looding buffer after years.

RECIRCULATION & REACTIVATION

City Open Space Transformation
Shanghai is one the largest cities in the world, the site area is located in the heart of Shanghai’s Hongkou District. A large number of vehicles and pedestrians share the same narrow road to make the road crowded and the hospital in the street escalate the problem. Since the rapid expansion of the city, disordered and crowded urban spaces have been a common problem, especially in large cities.
SITE AREA ANALYSIS
This project is aiming to improve some of the common problems in high-density urban areas. The design consists of two part, the regional area planning and the critical street design. In the regional, the key point is to separate circulation between pedestrians and vehicles, then reorganize the green space meanwhile adding new functions like parking lot and activity space.
PROBLEMS OF THE AREA Green Space Were Occupied Or Isolated By Barrier Wall
As for the key streets, meeting the demands according to different types of pedestrians’ characteristics. Therefore, it is possible for different destination’s pedestrians to choose efficient route without interfering with each other, but to provide recreation and communication options at the intersection of the circulation.

WEAVING THE WATERFRONT
Regeneration Of The Former Industrial Zone Site : Shanghai,China Area : 160 Hectares Instructor : Yuting Su Individual Work Date: 04/2018 The project included a redevelopment and open space plan for a 160 hectare area along the Huangpu River in Yangpu District, Shanghai, China. Carrying the historic legacy of the China industrial era, the riverside site has been forgotten and half-abandoned for years. Disconnected from its surrounding communities, the site has been overlooked by the f low of Shanghai’s development and opportunities.

The design vision is to stitch together the many parts of the site through a activity waterfront and existing industrial heritage to unlock the riverside’s potential and restore its historic memory. The key to unlock the potential of the site lies not only in creative ideas turning the former buildings into iconic cultural spaces, but also in the careful delivery process of remediation of the landscape and a network of open spaces and pedestrian links between the industrial objects. Offering a fresh approach to urbanism, one that carefully considers contemporary as well as historical contexts while creating a direct and vital link to the waterfront.
