Workonhydrauliccomponentsshouldbeperformedseparatefromotherworkinaso-called”cleanroom”.Theroom musthavegoodventilationandthefloormustbecoatedwithabindingmaterial.Machining,grindingandsimilarwork isnotallowedinthe”cleanroom”.
Theworkplacemustbeequippedwiththoroughlycleanedtoolsandsuitablecontainersforcleaninghydraulic components.
Containersforcleaninghydrauliccomponentsmustnotbeusedforothercleaning.Thecontainersmustbecleaned frequentlyandfilledwithnewfluid.Thecontainersmustbeequippedwitharemovablegratingonthebottom,which separatesthecomponentfromanysludgeonthebottom.
Alwayscleancomponentswhicharetobehandledinthe”cleanroom”.Donotuseanycausticsodasolutionsoragents whichmaycausecorrosion.
Alwaysplanworkonthehydraulicsystemsothatitcanbecompletedwithoutanylongerinterruptions.
Whencleaningduringrepairing–usedryandcleancompressedairfordrying,donotusecottonwasteorrags.
Alwaysplugacomponentwhenworkiscompleted,usecleanplasticplugsofthecorrectdimensions,andpackthe component.
Whencleaninginthe”cleanroom”–usemethodswhichdonotstirupdustordirt.

Allhydrauliccomponentsmustbestoredinplasticbagsorfilmandtheymustbeplugged.Thepackagingmustnotbe openedbeforeuseofthecomponent.
Servicevehiclesshouldbeequippedwithaninteriorwhichfacilitatesgoodorderandcleanliness.
Eachservicevehicleshouldcontainarollofplasticfilm,plasticplugsofthemostcommondimensionsandplastic containersforcomponents.Plugsandfilmshouldbeofthetypeforone-timeuse.
