The Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show is the nation’s largest, longest running and most successful marine industry exhibition, drawing on a fiercely loyal gathering of tens of thousands of attendees over 4 action packed days.

We are heartened by the positive feedback and survey responses as to our revitalised 2024 edition of the show; delivering on ambitious event experience goals set for our first year at the helm.

The refreshed main halls floor plan and aesthetic created a far more engaging and connecting experience improving lineof-sight and spreading visitor traffic more evenly across your innovations and product. We curated a new diverse range of kaimoana offerings. We introduced exciting Boat Show exclusive rides and activities that kept young families onsite for longer and added to the atmosphere with happy young sealegs.

We rethought how we best celebrate industry achievements, we focussed on delivering maximum ROI for all partners, and we injected a significant boost into marketing efforts that delivered a large contingent of both new and out-oftown visits.

STEP 2 Complete the Expression of Interest* form to request your preferred locations.

STEP 3 A member of our sales team will be in touch to confirm your site and issue your contract.

*Please note the expression of interest does not secure your booking. You will be contacted to allocate your site, and a contract will be issued to sign and confirm your booking.

Payment & Rebate

NZ Marine & New Zealand Boat Show rebate.

A rebate system is available for financial members of NZ Marine that have booked and paid their deposit prior to 20 January 2025. This rebate is based on 5% of stand value. The rebate will be direct credited to exhibitors after the show, subject to all terms and conditions including payment structure and Pack In and Pack Out procedures outlined in the Operations Manual being met and exhibitors being financial members of NZ Marine during the period of the show.

Any extra charges such as public liability insurance need to be paid by due dates.

Rebates do not apply to outside EX stands.

Halls 1, 2 & 3

Bare concrete floor stand areas

• Walkways only carpeted by show organisers

• Exhibitors required to arrange own quality floor covering for ALL hall 1 - 3 stands. If you do not organize your own covering, carpet will be provided, at the exhibitors’ cost, by the carpet & rug company.

• One 10amp 4 way multibox

• Ambient hall lighting

• All stands under 130m2 will be supplied with lights, please check the pricing schedule on pages 21 - 25

• Panel system 2.3m high - velcro receptive - colour black

• Draping is no longer permitted in halls 1 - 3 without prior written consent from the organiser.

• NEW All stands over 130m2 have a new ‘Serviced’ option, which includes both power and lighting allocation. See schedule on pages 21-25 for details.

Outdoor Stands (EX)

“EX” are outside stand areas with access to a single-phase power outlet. “EX” stands can be purchased as a package with marquee.

Alternatively exhibitor’s own marquees, tents, promotional gazebos, push-ups must be of an exhibition standard, appropriately weighted and approved by organiser’s prior to install.

All “EX” stands are peg free zones due to underground cables and tarseal. Please check the pricing schedule on pages 32-33.

Open Corner Stands

• Open sides must remain open. Any modification to stand area requires written permission from the show organisers.

• Banners or signage must be a minimum of 2m within your stand boundaries. Please contact please contact our operations team at admin@boatshow.co.nz for prior approval.

Design & Build Stands

A design and build stand is one that is designed and built by another company that needs to be specially constructed and installed for the exhibition. If you’re planning a design and build stand, you must contact our operations team at admin@boatshow.co.nz with your plans for approval.
