A Grade North 52 vs Millicent 57

A slow start showed at the end of the first quarter with us down by 5. The next two quarters saw small mistakes allow the opposition to control the game. However, the fourth quarter was definitely our best with an 11 goal turn around. Good movement down court was rewarded in the goal circle. Caroline Davey 46 from 47. This quarter showed what we are capable of, a good team effort.

A Reserve North 55 vs Millicent 59

The games started evenly and both teams had some early turnovers. Millicent went to the break, up by 3. The second quarter saw North play seamless netball with very few errors. They lifted their defensive pressure and converted their goals, shooting accurately. The third quarter saw Millicent lift their intensity and create turnovers. Millicent we able to score quickly and easily whilst keeping safe possession. North ended up going down by 4 goals in the top of the table clash.

B Grade North 31 vs Millicent 47

Not a great result but Millicent definitely came to play and showed why they are sitting in top the ladder. We kept with them for the first half, but a few lapses saw them extend their lead. Abbey, Elyse and Brianna tried hard all game in defence while Keeley found her aggression with pulling in some tough balls in the goal circle. Hoping we get to play them again soon. Awards: Abbey and Keeley.

C Grade North 33 vs Millicent 39

An absolutely fabulous effort from the girls to go down by only 6, as last time we played Millicent we lost by 23. Really proud of the way the girls work hard to combat the challenging defence, the gap got out to 8 as Millicent stepped up their intensity. Credit to the girls as they came home strong to win the last quarter. We'll done, looking forward to playing them again.

U/17 The girls had a tough game against a very strong Millicent side. Proud of the girl's effort to continue to work hard and saw us have a strong second half to finish

North Gambier North Gambier Yellow & Black

It was an interesting return to off the game. There were a netball complete with all the four number of great passages of play seasons... and stops in defence. Plenty of positives to take from the game We celebrated two milestones on despite the final score. Best the day - the supremely talented players- Alice and Alysha. Ellie Bouchier who plays 17 & Under and is in her debut A Grade Under 15A season played her 100th game and North 15 vs Millicent 40 while I know she is probably sick of Was not our best performance and hearing it, we are all loving she is i know you girls have got a lot more playing circle defence with her in you. All credit to those Millicent mother Brandi. Again on Saturday girls, they are an amazing unit. Part of C and B Grade lineups and also filling in for A Reserve, them played their part, it was just little mistakes that we still need to work on. A lot of positives going forward. Under 13B North 20 vs Millicent 29

The girls had a tough loss to Millicent. They worked very hard but after a few weeks off struggled to get into the flow of the game early. Some great patches of play happened throughout the match, and we look to grow on this come South this weekend. The girls are becoming great players with good ability to read the play. As always, we are very proud of their efforts!

Under 11 North 9 vs Millicent 22

The girls did a good job today reacquainting themselves with netball after a long break. Millicent are a skilled team and we did a better job of keeping up with them today. Weather wasn't to our advantage, but We had lots of possessions and plenty of opportunity so will have to work on our passing and leading this week. Awards go to Addison and Piper.

minimal and her best is amazing South Gambier South Gambier Red & WhiteV and match changing. She is a multi premiership player and has a best in court in a grand final on her resume and she is a much loved team member because of her no fuss approach. She has a stack of individual club accolades and when it is her time to help out in a volunteer role she always rolls up her sleeves and when it is time to glam up for a club event she is also in the running for best on. It was great to be able to share her milestone with her whole family courtside - well there was no Bretto who returned to the A Grade football field but he was there for her 100th - he usually times his injuries to coincide with the milestone celebrations. The B Grade did the right thing by their team mate with a huge win, with Leyna and Shelby continuing their stellar form in 2021.
