Installing a solar panel might seem a brilliant idea to counter the ghastly effects of loadshedding, amid the ongoing nationwide blackouts. In terms of the proposal tabled before Council, the municipality plans to impose a fixed network charge on devices classified as small scale energy generators (SSEGs) and medium scale energy generators (MSEGs).
