CAMDEN SOUTH CAPITOL EASTER EGG HUNT CONTEST RULES NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR RENTAL OF ANY KIND BY ENTRANTS IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST
1. TO ENTER. On April 20th from 11a – 4p (“Entry Period”), entrants may only enter the Camden South Capitol Easter Egg Hunt Contest (“Contest”) finding an egg containing a prize hidden throughout the community. The Contest is sponsored by Camden Development, Inc. (“Sponsor”). All such entries that comply with the rules shall be eligible for the prize. Entries received after the end of the Entry Period are null and void. The Contest winners will be selected by the Sponsor (“Judge”) as more fully described herein. All decisions of the Judges are final. 2. ELIGIBILITY. Contest open only to legal residents of the United States and Washington, D.C., who are physically located in the United States, who are 18 years of age or older as of the start of the Entry Period. The Contest is void where prohibited. Employees of the Sponsor and the Judge and immediate families of those employees are not eligible. Camden reserves the right to disqualify anyone who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the entry process or operation of this contest or violated the rules. If the contest cannot be run as planned for any reason, including technical problems, sponsors reserve the right to cancel, curtail, modify or suspend the contest. In the event the contest is terminated early, winners will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination. 3. CONDITIONS. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge and represent compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Neither Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising nor Contest agencies are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. 4. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS. On April 20th from 11a – 4p, entrants who locate a hidden egg on the property and bringing into the leasing office. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Purchase will not increase odds of winning. The winners will be notified in person or by mail (which may be via electronic mail). The winner must be eligible and will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and release within twenty-one (21) days of issuance of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. 5. CONSUMER DISCLOSURE - PRIZE. 50 number of prizes will be awarded. 30 number of eggs will contain candy. 20 of the eggs (golden eggs) will have vouchers for a four-pack of Washington National tickets. Winners of the Washington Nationals vouchers will come into the office to pick a National game of their choosing among the available games at that time. Only one golden egg (4 ticket voucher) valued at $80 may be redeemed per apartment unit. No substitution or transfer of prizes is permitted by any winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded for any reason. All incidental expenses and any applicable federal, state and local tax associated with winning a prize in the Contest will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner shall be provided a 1099 form for income tax purposes. 6. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS. Sponsor, Judges, their employees, directors, trust managers, subsidiaries and their employees will not be responsible for or liable to any prize winner, winner’s family or estate for any submissions of entries that are lost, late, illegible, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, including those caused by computer errors. Sponsor or Judges may, at any time and without recourse, decide to terminate or modify the Contest if the integrity of the Contest appears to be compromised. Decisions of Judge related to the winner, interpretation of official rules, and other matters related to this Contest are final. SPONSOR MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY NATURE WITH RESPECT TO THE CONTEST OR ANY PRIZES, WHETHER IN RESPECT OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTIBILITY OR OTHERWISE. ENTRANTS ACKNOWLEDGE THAT, EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HEREIN, SPONSOR HAS NOT MADE AND DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATED TO THE CONTEST OR ANY PRIZE. ALL ENTRANTS, BY ENTERING, AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES. BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, WINNER AGREES TO RELEASE SPONSOR, ITS DIRECTORS, TRUST MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES OFFICERS OR AGENTS, ANY SUBSIDIARY OF SPONSOR, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, LOSS OF PERSONAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGES ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, THE AWARDING, RECEIPT, ACCEPTING, USING OR MISUSING OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZERELATED ACTIVITIES. 7. GOVERNING LAW. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. All disputes surrounding the Contest and any prizes awarded hereunder will be subject to the substantive laws of Virginia. All disputes arising out of or relating to this contest shall be exclusively resolved by binding arbitration pursuant to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. 8. GENERAL. Winner consents to the use of his name, biographical information, photographs and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. Sponsor will not enter into correspondence with any entrant during the Contest.
AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY AND RELEASE I,

1. I have read, understand, have complied and will continue to comply with the official rules for the "Camden South Capitol Easter Egg Hunt Contest" (the "Contest"). I represent that I am a resident of the United States and of legal age. 2.
I entered the Contest through authorized legitimate channels in accordance with the official rules.
3. For the opportunity to enter the Contest, the prize, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, hereby waive, release, discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Camden Development, Inc (the “Company�), its respective affiliates, parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees and agents associated with the Contest, from and against any and all liabilities, losses, damages, expenses, claims, settlements or judgments of any kind whatsoever, including attorney's fees, which I, my heirs, executors and administrators may have, or which any other party may have against me, arising directly or indirectly from my participation in the Contest and my acceptance and use of the prize awarded to me. 4. For the opportunity to enter the Contest, the prize, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby grant to the Company and anyone authorized by any of them, the right to use my name, biographical data, portrait, photograph, voice or likeness in any form, in whole or in part, for advertising, promotional and trade purposes in any and all media, without territorial, time, use of other limitation. I release the Company from all liabilities arising out of any distortion, optical illusions or faulty mechanical reproductions of my likeness. I understand and agree that any and all photographic plates, negatives and tape recordings containing my likeness, regardless of form, are and shall remain the property of the Company. I acknowledge that I have no right to approve the advertising or promotional materials created pursuant to this release. 5. I acknowledge that: (a) all applicable taxes levied against the prize are solely my responsibility and that I shall hold the Company harmless from any liability for taxes or other assessments imposed on me as a result of the acceptance of the prize; (b) all expenses not specified in the official rules are my responsibility, (c) the prize is non-transferable; (d) I must make arrangements acceptable to the Company for payment of any applicable taxes and fees prior to use of the prize; (e) the Company has not arranged for nor carries any insurance of any kind for my benefit or the benefit of my heirs, executors and administrators in connection with my acceptance of the prize; and (f) no cash or other substitutions for the prize will be allowed or otherwise granted except in the sole discretion of the Company. 6. I acknowledge that the official rules for the Contest require me to execute and return this Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within 21 days, the failure of which will result in the complete forfeiture of the prize.
