Wine-making is a generational secret that requires a long period of patience to produce a single bottle. With the deconstruction of the building, a large crater exposes the workings of a winery. A tour through Martin Winery will follow a parallel journey with the everyday workers who produce the finest of wines to learn all there is with the wine-making process and the winery itself.

Grapes are harvested from the surrounding vineyards. Additional grapes may be transported from local vineyards.
After crushing, the grapes are fermented, with fermenting techniques varying to the grape and type of wine. This process is located below grade to allow for better thermal controls and to utilize gravity in between processes
Following fermentation, the wine is transferred to barrels, varying in types of wood to transfuse different flavour profiles into the wine. The barrels are stored in a concrete vault to prevent outside influences.
Once reaching the desired age, the wine is bottled and shipped out, with select bottles kept for the on site store, or private collection

Located on the southern tip, or what is a densely populated Manhattan City, Liberty Tower allows adventurous guests seek new views with a 1.5km ramp with 360 degree views. The height reflects that of the statue of liberty and with platforms positioned to face various monuments and landmarks of the city.

Congested streets make up most, if not all, the circulation in Hong Kong. PARA-SITE seeks to provide for its host with the an available green space to harvest small crops and to alleviate foot traffic on the narrow streets bellow. With the use of recycled bamboo, the framework is set to enhance the spaces both during the busy daytime shipping and loading, as well as the bustling night time street markets 13

Watching planes land was a favourite pasttime to many. Billy Bishop serves as the closest airport and landing strip to the Toronto downtown core. To bring attraction to this wonder, and Hanlan’s point this observatory provides a platform that overhangs Lake Ontario to watch landing planes approach. The design of the fins reflect the angle of the approaching planes.

The Heintzman piano has a long history in Canada. To preserve their legacy and to reintroduce the beauty of the piano in a modern context, the Heintzman & Co. Piano museum acts to preserve and teach the piano at the heart of Toronto City. Featuring a performance space, an open event space and many acoustic treated private practice spaces, the centre seeks to spark interest into the older fine arts and provide a space where one can express themselves and seek new innovations. 23
