PUMA DynaX Boombox Portable Active Speaker
The revolutionary boombox with totally refreshing form, function,and ergonomic represents ‘dynamic’ and ‘street’ as PUMA brand image.
Research and Concept Boombox is usually associated with hip hop culture and break dancing in US. The current boombox’s trademarks are a boxy form, two large speakers and big handle. I decided to apply futuristic style,‘dynamic’ and ‘street’ concepts into PUMA DynaX boombox. The ergonomic need has been changed radically for better usability. This design can be carried in three ways.

Material synergy is the soul of this chair. This chair has very good balance between aesthetic and strength.
Research and Concept This project challenged the students to build this chair only using 4mm diameter steel rod and 5mm thickness plywood, yet can load 150 kg without any screws or bolts. I spent a lot of time in true scale mock up development to learn how steel rod and plywood work synergic and seek the best structure of chair that can load 150 kg with very thin materials.

Fresco Blender Kitchen Appliance
Fresco Blender is inspired by the shape of peeling banana. This design is very user-friendly and easy to use, yet powerful.
Research and Concept I found that many users feel ‘nothing special’ in using a blender. A great design can give different and rich experience to them. I chose ‘Fresh’ as the main concept. The peeling banana shape inspired me because it has unique and iconic shape.

My Folder USB Portable Hard Drive
My Folder is inspired by Folder icon that usually found on desktop. It allow user to replace casing with another casing without compromosing its function.
Research and Concept I found that the market competition of USB portable hard drive is very competitive. The existing products are very similiar in price and feature but different design approach. I chose ‘Folder’ icon as this main concept. Folder icon is highly popular among us because every computer has folder for storing and organizing our data. Folder give us the privacy and safety sense.

Re.Color Bike Headlight has bright color and unusual design will capture young people’s heart. This design is created for recreational purpose.
Research and Concept Most of bike headlight design styles are sporty and elegant. The designer see opportunity to create new design style that has never been in market. The designer applied retro style and fun element into this design. It has classic shape with modern curved line.

Rotate Kettle Kitchen Appliance
Rotate kettle is designed specifically for accident prevention. This design has safety locking lid, and unique pouring system. It is very safe, lightweight, yet user friendly.
Research and Concept Unfortunately, the kettle is one of the top most dangerous items that most probably to cause the home accident. I decided to apply ball and socket joints into pouring system.That system is very versatile and easy to use. It will reduce physical efforts in transporting and pouring out water.
