YVC offers flagger certification training

This winter YVC resumed hosting in-person Flagger Certification Trainings. The trainings held in January, February and March provide certification for work zone traffic control flaggers. Social distancing and advanced safety protocols were utilized.

Traffic control flaggers are in demand in our area and statewide.

“Continuing education and community trainings such as the Flagger Certification continue to grow YVC,” stated WorkFirst Director Lonni Rodriguez-Funk. “YVC is providing a valuable service to various community and municipal groups and organizations in the Yakima Valley. These trainings allow community members to obtain or retain their flagger certification, ensuring that they are able to get and/or keep their jobs.”

Trainings may also be arranged on-site for companies. Space is limited and classes fill quickly; register and pay early to guarantee your seat. For more information contact 509.574.4745 / hlundquist@yvcc.edu.
