The R1M comes with a radical factory-bike look inspired by the race-winning Yamaha M1 MotoGP bike. The aggressive front cowl and screen give a low frontal area for minimal drag, and the integrated fairing flows seamlessly into the fuel tank sides to give a tight tuck-in position for the most efficient aerodynamics.

The Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS) is the most sophisticated suspension system available on a production Yamaha. Its advanced software enables you to corner, brake and accelerate more efficiently, and its user-friendly interface allows you to make rapid suspension setting changes to suit different tracks and surface conditions.

For enhanced surface feedback with more consistent damping performance, the R1M is equipped with high-tech Öhlins NPX gas forks. A small gas chamber in the fork axle brackets exert 0.6 Mpa of internal pressure to reduce cavitation on the rebound stroke. This enables the damping system to work more effectively, giving you accurate feel with increased control.

To achieve the best mass centralisation together with a low race-ready weight the R1M features a carbon bodywork and front fender, as well as magnesium wheels and rear frame and a titanium lower fairing cover and the carbon tail section underlines this sophisticated track bike’s extremely high specification.

Delivering 73.4 PS @ 8,750 rpm, the 689cc CP2 engine of the R7 offers thrilling acceleration and instant throttle response. Its 270 degree crank gives an uneven firing interval that ensures a lively and exciting feel as the revs rise – and its linear torque output enables you to lay down the power efficiently for faster corner exits.

A key factor in achieving optimum performance is by having the smallest frontal area possible and thanks to the compact dimensions of the CP2 engine, Yamaha’s designers have been able to develop an athletic bodywork that is slimmer than any other R-Series model. And with its sporty tucked-in riding position, the R7 slices through air smoothly and efficiently.

Dual LED headlights and a central air duct work with the cross-layered fairing panels to maximise cooling airflow for the EU5 engine, making this the most outstanding supersport in the 300cc A2 licence class.

With a compression ratio of 11.2:1, double overhead cams (DOHC) and four-valve cylinder heads, the 321cc two-cylinder motor is designed for quick-revving performance and high-rpm efficiency. This R1 GYTR is equipped with a lightweight wiring harness and GYTR® programmable ECU which allow you to set up your bike to achieve the best performance. Its advanced electronics package enables you to modify in a detailed level the slide, lift and engine breaking setting and much more.

R1 GYTR’s race-ready specification includes race handlebars, race rear sets for ultimate body positioning and controllability. And this track machine also comes equipped with a keyless fuel cap, on/off switch and paddock stand hooks. The GYTR® steel brake lines, and OEM calipers equipped with GYTR steel pistons kit, together with Brembo Z04 pads achieve consistent strong braking performance.

For optimum drive efficiency the R1 GYTR is equipped with a race specification 520 chain and runs with a 15T/42T front/rear sprocket combination. And there are also a wider range of front and rear GYTR® sprockets available to adapt to your preference and track, that you can buy at your Yamaha dealer.

GYTR drive system

The R6 GYTR is designed for riders who want the ultimate Supersport race bike. Available exclusively from Yamaha GYTR PRO SHOPS, it’s equipped with various GYTR racing parts including a lightweight high-performance full titanium Akrapovič exhaust system as well as an AIS plug set and a quick shifter for seamless full throttle upshifts.

For optimal race performance this high specification Supersport is fitted with a GYTR ECU, that allows adjustment of fuel injection and ignition timing, as well as a lightweight wire harness, a PC interface cable and a GYTR ABS Emulator.

The stainless steel brake line sets are designed to deliver consistently strong braking performance – and the rear set with a reverse shifting kit provides for ideal racing ergonomics. The R6 GYTR also is equipped with an on/off switch as well as a keyless fuel cap.

The drive system on the R6 GYTR features a lightweight 15T drive sprocket and 46T rear wheel sprocket as well as a racing specification 520 chain, for optimum high speed performance.

The R6 GYTR can only be used on closed circuits, private areas and specific events where participation with non-registered vehicles is allowed. Yamaha bLU cRU – Supporting the new racing generation The Yamaha bLU cRU program was established in partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme and Dorna Sports to encourage, nurture and develop the future stars of circuit racing. It’s open to any rider and operates on both a national and international level. On the world stage, the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM World Cup runs alongside the FIM Superbike World Championship and is open to riders aged between 14 and 20 years. The series, which features a truly international grid, allows riders to showcase their talents in front of the leading world championship teams. This opportunity has, over the past three seasons, seen numerous bLU cRU riders securing a place on the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship grid. The Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM World Cup is contested exclusively aboard the Yamaha R3 machine and will again be run at selected European WorldSBK rounds in 2024. R7 Racing The Yamaha R7 Cup Series is an accessible and unique race series with a special sense of community spirit that welcomes a diverse group of riders from various ages and backgrounds. If this sounds like your sort of thing then you’re welcome to become a part of this growing movement! For 2024 the R7 Cup Series and is expected to run in at least six European countries, with the best riders in each local championship selected to compete at the R7 European SuperFinale held at the final round of the Endurance World Championship, the Bol d’Or, in September. The R7 will also be campaigned on the world stage in 2024, having been selected as the bike for the inaugural FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, which will be contested across six rounds alongside the FIM Superbike World Championship. Additionally, the R7 will make its endurance racing debut this season, with the first ever two-hour R7 Endurance Race set to take place during the second round of the Endurance World Championship at Circuit SpaFrancorchamps in June.
