About Me:

My journey in the world of interior design is a testament to my passion for creativity and innovation. Hailing from Cairo, Egypt, I embarked on her career after completing her bachelor’s degree at the Art and Design Academy in 2016. My early years were marked by dynamic experiences across the vibrant landscapes of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where I honed my skills working on a myriad of commercial and residential projects.

From initial client meetings to the final handover stage, i immersed herself in every aspect of the design process. Whether it was crafting conceptual frameworks or bringing them to life through meticulous 3D renders, I embraced each challenge with enthusiasm and dedication. My time in the Middle East not only enriched her professional repertoire but also instilled in her a deep appreciation for the intersection of culture, architecture, and design.

Seeking to further expand my horizons and delve into the realms of experimentation and innovation, I made my way to the United States. Enrolling in the School of Design at the University of Kentucky for my master’s program, i sought to immerse myself in an environment conducive to fostering groundbreaking ideas. Here, amidst a melting pot of creativity and academia, I found the perfect canvas to explore new concepts and push the boundaries of conventional design.

For me, interior design is more than just aesthetics; it’s a powerful tool with the potential to shape economies and communities. With a keen eye for detail and a penchant for visionary thinking, i aspires to redefine the role of interior design in both commercial and residential spheres. She envisions a future where design transcends mere functionality to become a catalyst for positive change, enriching the lives of individuals and revitalizing entire communities.

As i embarks on the next stage of my career, I poised to make a lasting impact on the world of interior design. Armed with my diverse experiences, unwavering passion, and a commitment to innovation, I am ready to chart new territories and leave an indelible mark on the industry.

HOSPITALITY PROJECTS

Coffee Shops-Restaurants-Beauty Salon-Medical Spa

My journey into the world of hospitality projects has been nothing short of exhilarating. It all began with my passion for design and a desire to create unforgettable experiences for people around the world. To hone my craft, I sought opportunities to work with some of the best design studios in different countries, immersing myself in diverse cultures and design philosophies.

From sleek studios in Dubai to bustling creative hubs in Cairo and cosmopolitan design firms in Dallas, I soaked up knowledge and inspiration like a sponge. Each studio brought its own unique perspective and expertise to the table, shaping my approach to design and project management.

As I ventured into creating hospitality projects spanning restaurants, coffee shops, spas, and beauty salons across the UAE, Egypt, and the United States, I encountered a kaleidoscope of clients. From Emiratis with a taste for luxury to Egyptians seeking a blend of tradition and modernity, and Americans craving both familiarity and novelty, the diversity was palpable.

Handling the entire process, from conceptualization to project delivery, was both a challenge and a privilege. Collaborating with talented architects, interior designers, chefs, spa technicians, and beauty specialists, I brought my vision to life, weaving together elements of culture, ambiance, and functionality.navigating the intricacies of each location, from regulatory requirements to cultural sensitivities, required a delicate balance of creativity and pragmatism. But seeing the end result—customers delighting in the spaces we created—made every late night and tight deadline worth it.

Whether it was witnessing diners savoring a culinary masterpiece, spa-goers luxuriating in tranquility, or beauty salon clients leaving with a newfound confidence, each interaction reaffirmed the power of design to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences. Cornerstone of my success in creating innovative and unique concepts for each hospitality space. From 3D rendering software to graphic My proficiency in software and visualization tools has been a

design programs, I’ve mastered these tools to bring my ideas to life with precision and creativity. Whether it’s sketching out initial concepts or fine-tuning every detail, my fluency in these technologies allows me to communicate my vision effectively and ensure that every aspect of the design aligns with my client’s objectives. But it’s not just about the tools—it’s about the ability to think outside the box and push the boundaries of conventional design. I thrive on exploring new concepts and approaches, drawing inspiration from a myriad of sources, including art, architecture, nature, and cultural trends. This constant exploration fuels my creativity and enables me to craft spaces that are truly oneof-a-kind.

Understanding how spaces work is another key strength of mine. I have a keen eye for spatial dynamics, flow, and functionality, allowing me to optimize the layout and arrangement of each space for maximum impact and efficiency. Whether it’s creating intimate dining nooks in a restaurant, designing tranquil relaxation zones in a spa, or optimizing workflow in a beauty salon, I strive to strike the perfect balance between form and function.

And let’s not forget my penchant for sourcing unique materials from around the world. I’m a firm believer that the right materials can elevate a design from good to exceptional, adding texture, depth, and character to a space. Whether it’s exotic woods from Southeast Asia, handcrafted tiles from Morocco, or sustainable fabrics from Scandinavia, I scour the globe in search of materials that will imbue each project with its own distinct personality and charm.

In essence, my ability to seamlessly integrate software expertise, visionary thinking, spatial understanding, and a global perspective sets me apart in the world of hospitality design. It’s this holistic approach that allows me to create spaces that not only look stunning but also function flawlessly and resonate deeply with clients and customers alike.

In the end, my journey from design studios to hospitality projects has been a testament to the transformative power of creativity, collaboration, and cultural appreciation. And as I continue to explore new horizons and push the boundaries of design, I’m excited to see where the journey takes me next.

RESIDENTIAL DESIGNS

Living in different cities and countries and being a frequent traveler has been an integral part of my journey as a designer, profoundly shaping my approach to creating residential spaces for clients from diverse cultures. Each new place I’ve called home, whether it’s bustling metropolises like Dubai or tranquil villages in the countryside, has offered invaluable insights into the nuances of living environments and cultural preferences.

Traveling extensively has allowed me to immerse myself in a tapestry of cultures, lifestyles, and architectural styles. From the minimalist elegance of Japanese design to the opulent grandeur of European palaces, I’ve drawn inspiration from a myriad of influences, constantly expanding my design repertoire and challenging my creative boundaries.

But it’s not just about being a passive observer—I actively seek to engage with each destination, studying its people, traditions, and built environment to glean a deeper understanding of what makes each place unique. Whether it’s exploring local markets, attending cultural festivals, or simply strolling through neighborhoods, I’m always on the lookout for inspiration that I can infuse into my designs.

This rich tapestry of experiences has equipped me with a keen ability to study each space, personality, and culture with a discerning eye. I understand that every client is unique, with their own set of preferences, lifestyles, and cultural backgrounds. By taking the time to listen and truly understand their needs and aspirations, I’m able to tailor my designs to reflect their individuality and create spaces that resonate on a personal level.

Whether it’s integrating elements of feng shui into a home for a client with Chinese heritage, incorporating traditional motifs and colors into a Mediterranean-inspired villa, or seamlessly blending modern amenities with rustic charm for a client with a love for the countryside, I approach each project as a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into a reflection of its inhabitants.

In essence, my nomadic lifestyle and passion for travel have not only broadened my design aesthetic but also deepened my understanding of the human experience. By weaving together elements of culture, personality, and place, I strive to create residential spaces that not only look beautiful but also feel like home—no matter where in the world that may be.

DESIGN EXPERIMENT

one of the main reasons why I decided to join the master’s program was looking for the right space to do design experiments. My experience at the University of Kentucky created a nurturing environment where I felt empowered to explore, experiment, and push the boundaries of design without fear of failure. The professors encouraged me to delve deep into understanding how things work and to take the time to analyze and dissect various design principles and concepts.

By embracing this mindset, I learned to approach design not just as a means to an end but as a journey of discovery and exploration. I was encouraged to question assumptions, challenge conventions, and seek innovative solutions to complex problems. This approach fundamentally shifted my design mentality, instilling in me a sense of curiosity and a willingness to take risks.

Rather than being confined by the limitations of tradition or convention, I learned to embrace experimentation as a catalyst for creativity and innovation. Each design project became an opportunity to explore new ideas, test novel concepts, and uncover unexpected insights. Whether it was through hands-on prototyping, digital simulations, or theoretical thought experiments, I discovered the immense value of iteration and refinement in the design process.

Moreover, my time at the University of Kentucky taught me to see design not just as an isolated practice but as a powerful tool for shaping the world around us. I learned to consider the broader social, cultural, and environmental implications of my designs, and to strive for solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.

This holistic approach to design has had a profound impact on my work as a designer. It has shaped my mindset, informed my process, and imbued my designs with a sense of purpose and meaning. By embracing experimentation, curiosity, and a commitment to making a positive impact, I strive to create spaces that not only inspire and delight but also contribute to the greater good of society and the planet.
