I am Yasmin and I am an interior designer from Cairo.I finished my bachelor’s degree in art and design academy in 2016 and started my career around AbuDhabi and Dubai. I worked on many commercial and residential projects from meet ing clients, creating a concept, working on 3d ren ders to the handover stage.then I found my way to the United States to start my master’s program in the school of design at the University of Kentucky to be able to get more education and experimen tal environment where I can create new ideas that may help to make a difference in the design industry.I am looking for the next stage in com mercial and residential designs where theinterior design can play a bigger role in the economy and the community and it can make a stronger effect on people’s life.

Two people walking around the streets of a small old town stop for a cup of coffee, and sit at the same table. Having the same type of coffee at the same time, these people can be worlds apart. How? Because they look at the world through a different lens. The collag es on the following pages were my attempt at viewing and inter preting the landscape of Hazard, KY.
Geometric shapes can produce an unlimited amount of forms. Architects and de signers use geometry to study and divide space, and to draft detailed building plans. Builders and engineers rely on geometric principles to create structures safely. Designers apply geometry (along with color and scale) to make the aesthetically pleasing spaces inside.
The following pages share a lasercut stainless steel ‘lens,’ built to dissect and capture the surrounding landscape by transforming light, reflection, and refraction.
The mirror finish on stainless steel provides a bright, shiny and re flective surface that allows for the abstraction of light, form, move ment, and the body’s relationship to space. What is foreground, becomes background – what is up is down. There is a lightness to the spaces produced.
By layering and nesting stainless steel into a series of “lens es,” the original photography became a base for renderings of a visitor’s center in Hazard, KY, where spaces for movement, light, and performance come to the forefront.

With different branches across UAE, This is the design for the galleria mall branch in Abu Dhabi. the requirement was To create a design that matches the other branches but is more creative and unique Also to solve all the problems and challenges to design a full coffee shop with comfy and elegant sitting in the middle of one of the biggest malls in the city.
The soft Cafe concept is a mix of modern and Mediterranean styles. This region is known for its turquoise waters sparkling sunlight days and vibrant produce and flowers, which are mirrored in Mediterranean design and this is what we needed to reflect in the area. focusing on the style’s most important elements such as rustic furniture, hardwood or stone tile floors, wall textures, and the olive tree.
Industrial design ladies’ salon with a feminine twist.Painted nails Saloon Concept played around modern comfort area with large space and reasonable budget,indus trial design with clean minimalist lines and pink color to add a feminine twist. grey is the total color area, giving the space the modern luxury style and the comfort people need to relax.
For a small family in Dubai needed to have sunlight and nature feeling all day bohemian style and rattan furniture was the best choice for the area.
