Exceptfora26-kmlineinMumbai,whichwillbebuiltundergroundutilizing3giant TunnelBoringMachines(TBM),thetrainsontheMumbai-Ahmedabadhigh-speed railcorridorwouldrunonanelevatedviaduct10-15mabovetheground.Allofthe stationswouldbeonanelevatedpathwiththeexceptionoftheBandra-Kurla Complex(BKC)station.
