Uga UGA is a smart yoga mat that can tract user's data and give them respoins.The project was design as a team for the interaction class in 2016.11
Problem
we start our research with the question "How often do you exercise?"
It seems like wheater you are sport fan or you give up sporting.... One day you don't exercise. what's your excuse?

Research on posts During the research,We found out that Yoga posts can generally included into several posture points,That means it's possible to create a gendence bases on the posture. we tried over 50 posts to confirm the points that
Our project-a yoga mat By concluding the posture point were we able to extmate each one's accucy. Our design method to solve the lack-ofpractise problem is put pressure senser under the mat,in order to guide the users.

The name "UGA" is meant for personal services and analysis,the logo is a yoger sit in beautiful posture.

Application
The Mat is designed to connect with mutiple devices which used as online courses archive. Also with the detect tech mentioned abrove,users can teach themselves yoga and correct their posture with the application' provided courses.
Pressure sensor
One main function of our design is the mat. Uga mat has one layer of pressure sensor underlying below the pressure point to detect motion
Kinect
We also design a frount hub for the mat with cameras and microphone. Uga mat has two camera sets,using microsoft's kinect tech to capture the yogers' motions
Posture correction
With the help of sensor mat and cameras,users can check their posture on the app and make modify without teahcers.
Posture Hints
before every course start there will be a hint on which points are used in the course.
Mat control
The four pressure pad that lies in the front of the mat is to control the application of UGA (during online courses)without bend to use your iphone or Ipad.the four controls pad are for start/pause, back, next and return.
Magnetic suction
The front hub is occupied with a suctioon zoom where you can put iphone/ipad/surface on in,play the course while users are practising
