Working Space --
ECHO
Intention of design the space is to create a working space for the company named ECHO with both technology centric and leveraging that technology functions. ECHO as the new type of the music characteristic that this music company represent also related the structure form to the space. This quiet, neat and monolithic space seems breathing such as the music itself. In order to arrange the space with both management of the business and the entertainment with live performances in the same time, the boundary of the space need to clear and functional. Therefore, a clear boundary is one of the characteristic elements in order to guide people into the space with functionality and the design language of this design proposal.

Adding Acoustic Material in the Space
Change the Shape of the Gallery
According to analyze the existing condition of the space, there are plenty of shortcomings that lead to a unsatisfied acoustical environment. A new design is needed in order to improve the acoustic effects which directly impacts how people experience the space holistically. Because the gallery space is multifunctional, its interior surfaces need to have acoustical treatments that will allow the space to function differently according to needs. The new proposal includes change of material, change of the room shape and adding flexible ceiling panels and partitions, in order for direct and focused sound to deliver clearly, without too much unwanted reflection. The activities happening within the space (e.g. lecture, presentation, group meeting, reception, and exhibition) should have desired sound effects accordingly with the new design.
