Artisana Environmental improvement strategy On November 15, 2019, five American technology companies, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Dell, and Tesla, were filed in the United States by international human rights organizations in a federal lawsuit. Sued these five technology companies for purchasing and using cobalt mined by child labor in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since the economic strength of the entire Congo (DRC) is the main reason for this incident, this design will propose a strategy for joint economic and environmental development based on site conditions.

Use grasshopper and realflow to simulate water flow on the site to find a suitable water storage point to meet the needs of agricultural planting on the site. Planting plants that can purify the land of the mine pit will carry out ecological restoration of the site, and finally put forward sustainable strategies according to the specific conditions of the site to plan the future development of the site.

oil development strategy

Overall strategy

rding to the survey, the content of copper and cobalt in the soil on site is much higher than other metals. Chemical fractionation can be used to nate most metals in the soil. Then use cover crops to reduce the metal toxicity of the soil, and finally use plant filtration to solve the problem of high metal content. Let the mine soil be able to grow food crops and provide food for local people.

This strategy was proposed based on the national conditions of the DR Congo. According to the survey, the DR Congo relies excessively on mining and neglects agriculture, which not only pollutes the environment, but also the domestically grown food can only meet 70% of domestic demand. Due to the serious inequality in resource distribution and the serious corruption problem, the gap between the rich and the poor in the society is too wide, intensifying social conflicts and further causing social instability. Therefore, this strategy proposes to improve the land after mining and allocate the land to farmers for crop planting. Providing a large number of employment opportunities can not only reduce the child labor problem caused by poverty, but also alleviate social conflicts to a certain extent.

monstration diagram of Chemical fractionation

The DR Congolese government established a highly automated mining system and at the same time repaired the land after mining for agricultural development, I believe it will improve the current bad situation in DR Congo.

Chemical fractionation Fractionation is a separation process in which a certain quantity of a mixture is divided during a phase transition, into a number of smaller quantities in which the composition varies according to a gradient. Fractionation makes it possible to isolate more than two components in a mixture in a single run.

In the early stage, materials that can be melted into the soil were used to build dams to store water and provide water for plants.

Cover crops Cover crops are planted to provide a soil cover, improve soil fertility and produce food and feed. They are normally grown during the dry season or as intercrops. They may be allowed to grow throughout the cropping season, or they may be killed and left on the soil surface as mulch.Africa has many different cover crops. They fall into four main groups: legumes, shrubs, grasses, and other.

Water is stored by building dams with stone that melts into the soil, and plants grow to form natural dams that store water without damaging the environment.

Food crops in the DRC are relatively simple, the main crop being cassava, followed by small amounts of maize and rice. Surveys have found that summer is part of the growing cycle for most crops, but the climate in the DRC has very little summer rainfall, so the creation of water storage ponds is essential for agricultural development.

Mine area

The phytoremediation of metal-contaminated soils offers a low-cost method for soil remediation and some extracted metals may be recycled for value.Natural metal hyperaccumulator phenotype is much more important than high-yield ability when using plants to remove metals from contaminated soils.

Dam material conversion

First, the metal content of the land is reduced, plants are grown in soil with less metal content and finally the land is improved to make it plantable. The land is then put under central government management. The land and houses are allocated according to the family's situation, etc., and the annual planting tasks are determined, with a portion of the crops grown being handed over to the government.

Site environmental change

Phytoremediation of soil metals

haumaniastrum robert ii Ipomoeaalpina

In the later stage, the dam is integrated into the land without soil destruction, and plants and soil form a natural dam to store water.

Raise poultry

After the soil was rehabilitated, crops were planted in a small area to obtain economic benefits.

Areal view of Stava-Valley after collapse of dams

Model making process

Two Tailing basins at Stava-Valley Mining activity in Stava valley has been carried on since the 16ht century. At that time major mining activity was related to extracting silver-bearing minerals. But In the 20th century, the interest of the mine shifted from silver to fiuorite due to the growing chemical industry.

As the mining works expanded, new mines were opened in the region of Stava and the most important of them all was situated at the foot of the mountain of Prestavel that looked over the entire Satva-Valley.

Introduction to Simulation This is the experimental process of water flow simulation, using foam and other materials to build the terrain, and then using Epoxy resin to simulate the change of water runoff on the ground through the dam. It is possible to find suitable sites for phytoremediation in the site.

Remains of two basins after collapse

In the years 1978 to 1982 the two basins were not used. In all these vears the dams and basins were never again controlled, not by the mining company, neither by the public administration responsible for mining activities in the Province of Trento.

Within. 50 seconds the wave reached the village killing 268 people and destroying 62 buildings and 8 bridges and within 3 minutes it reached the Avisio River which was 4.2 km away-engulfing and destroying everything in its path.

But soon the inevitable disaster occurred in 1985 at 12.22.55. The upper dam collapsed first, slumping in the substent and triggering the collapse of the lower dam, Releasina 180.000 cubic metres of mud, sand and water into the Stava-Valley and toward the village of Stava at a speed of 90 km/h.

The safety of the dam is therefore of particular importance in the design, which must take into account the appropriate angle of the dam and the safe distance from the residential area.

In the original land mines there were only a few original mining workshops, then a small number of local farmers planted and tended the land within the mines, and later, when a large number of farmers entered the mines, they formed settlements near the water catchment areas and a diaspora pattern on the sloping land.

The original mine roads formed a ring according to the topography, with site roads simply linking the farmers' settlements to the farmland, connecting groups of residents and diverting traffic to the periphery, before more roads were built on the site, connecting the various settlements outside the groups.

There is a small amount of green space around the residential area of the original land of the mine and local farmers have started to plant soil remediation plants on the mine site and once the soil remediation is complete, the farmers start to grow crops, allowing the mine site to form a small ecosystem that provides a good environment for living and growing plants.

In the early stages, only mine workers are active in the mine, later on new farmers are added to increase the vitality of the mine and after settlements are formed, the vitality of the mine is concentrated in groups of residents and then the farmers are scattered in different parts of the mine, balancing the distribution of the vitality of the mine.

Due to the development of 5G, multiple signal towers are built in cities and villages, and the Internet is used to eliminate the actual distance between the two places. It also reduces the development gap between the two places and makes the rural environment more suitable for the needs of modern people.

Internet circle: Using the Internet circle, people no longer need to go to a specific place to study, work, shopping, greatly reducing the waste of time of modern people.

[Garden city theory] This is a community group composed of four garden communities of different styles. The four gardens are connected by a central garden, in which there will be a hospital, a treatment plant and other public facilities. And each garden has a track connected to the center that allows the house to move to its favorite garden. [Extraction element]

[Conception analysis]

The seven elements in the daily life of ancient pastoral poets in the poem are extracted, and their elements are closely connected with nature, which is also the functional division of the space designed later.

[Yuanming Tao] (AD 365 -- 427) was a minor official for a few years before he resigned and returned home. After that, he lived in seclusion, and the pastoral life was the theme of his poems.

Yuanming Tao has the largest number of pastoral poems and the highest achievement. This kind of poems fully demonstrate the poet's noble morals; fully demonstrate the poet's love for the simple and rural life, understanding of labor and friendly feelings for the working people; fully demonstrate the poet's pursuit and yearning for an ideal world . In his idyllic poems, you can see everywhere he is bored with the filthy reality and his love for the peaceful pastoral life

Cultivation

According to the sequence of traditional Chinese gardens, in the future design, I will design the garden based on the elements extracted from the above poems. The space is roughly divided into five areas. First, enter the entrance courtyard, after the fruit garden, enter the central courtyard, then through the mulberry tree forest, and finally enter the food planting area.

[Internal building analysis]

归园田居 ( 其一 ) To live in the garden (one)

少无适俗韵,性本爱丘山。

榆柳荫后檐,桃李罗堂前。

I did not love official career since childhood but love nature.

Elm trees shade the back eaves of the house, and peaches and plums compete for spring line the front yard.

误落尘网中,一去三十年。 Accidentally fell into the official career, away from the countryside has been more than 10 years.

暧暧远人村,依依墟里烟。

Removable dinningroom

Building movement process

The distant neighbor village is visible faintly, the village is floating in a curl of smoke.

羁鸟恋旧林,池鱼思故渊。

狗吠深巷中,鸡鸣桑树颠。

The birds in their cages look forward to the mountains, the fish in the ponds to the rivers of yore.

From deep down the lane came the barking of dogs, and from the top of the mulberry tree came the crowing of cocks.

开荒南野际,守拙归园田。

户庭无尘杂,虚室有余闲。

I would like to open up wasteland in the south and keep the simplicity of farming.

There is no dust in the courtyard, there is plenty of quiet and leisurely.

方宅十余亩,草屋八九间。

久在樊笼里,复得返自然。

There are more than ten acres of land around the house, and there are eight or nine thatched houses.

After being trapped in a cage with no freedom for so long, I finally returned to Lin Shan today.

[Thoughts in poems] The last two lines in the poem "there is no dust and clutter in the house, and there is leisure in the empty room." It points out that as an official, there are always many stupid things that I don't want to do, and a lot of boring socializing. But now they have all got rid of, and live a leisurely life in a quiet residence.

Removable livingroom

Above is the movable interior floor plan of the room. The living room and dining room are distributed in different positions in the garden. It also shows the movement of the indoor building, so that people can transfer the room to their favorite courtyard.

However, the most enjoyable thing is not to be leisurely here, but to be able to live according to your own wishes from now on. The idea of feeling natural and not worrying about the secular, as proposed by the poet, is the way of life pursued by many ancient Chinese literati.

The different functional spaces composed of the elements in the poem will be divided into size and location according to the use of people in the site to ensure a reasonable combination of spaces.

[Collage renderings] The whole project uses the Chinese landscape garden form of Jiangnan private garden, focusing on the creation of people's living space, the space is small but very fine. The project incorporates elements from ancient poems. The whole will be divided into spaces of different sizes according to the elements and functions. The space and the space are reasonably connected, which facilitates communication between people and protects people's privacy. People's daily life can use every function in the space, so it can also make people in the space have a very close connection, breaking the unconnected lifestyle in the living space of modern urban neighborhoods.

The main purpose of the project is to build a green country hotel integrated with nature. The base has a large area of mountain forest and terraced fields, and has a continuous stream of water channels and mountain streams. The landscape design strategy requires that the landscape and characteristics of the site be preserved and strengthened, and part of the dry mountain streams and landslides on the slopes are ecologically restored.

so that the water system is connected to form a cycle; the mountain forest vegetation is combed and replanted, and the messy lower vegetation is cleaned up, which is the forest plank road. The construction provides space; the development intensity is minimized, and the buildings are mostly green overhead buildings to reduce damage to the environment.
