Hostel Design

This is a group project. Our design seeks to minimally intrusive to the existing building structure and blend into the neighborhood. Our project is a traditional chinese courtyard house, located near Forbidden City in Beijing. Due to its unique location and architecture, we don’t want to be intrusive to the existing structure, instead, we’re trying to blend into neighborhood through integrated additions to the existing structure.
