WATER CRISIS OF MIAMI
The goal of this assignment is that after investigation, we used graphic methods to represent water issues of different cities from three water system. For Miami, the most serious water issue is the salinization of water, and I used data from these three systems to support it.

New Agriculture Water Use in Louisiana Redesign of Southern University Agriculture Research Center & Baker Canal
Louisiana agriculture serves as an example of basic industry for the state economy. Louisiana’s flat topography, and surface water resources combined with the humid subtropical climate permits the growing of a great number of crops in the state. It is ranked 3rd nationally for rice production, and the other top crops in Louisiana are corn, sugarcane, soybeans, and tobacco. Those production would not be possible without irrigation. About 70% of the 800 million gallons per day (Mgd) withdrawn from the Chicot Aquifer in Southwest Louisiana is estimated to be used for rice irrigation. The population growth, the urban expansion, the sea level rising results in lost cost, and the saltwater intrusion threaten water demands and water quality in agriculture activities. Besides, the traditional agriculture water use caused many issues such as water wastage, pesticide pollution, soil erosion and degradation. According to the big-picture thinking of national context and Louisiana regional agricultural condition, the site will be designed as a new-tech experiment zone of agriculture water use. The main role of the project is to create a sustainable place for cleaner and greener agriculture water use research integrated with related markets and recreational space. The research place can be used by Southern University with other research institute, and will be open to farmers and public. The site will be connect with Baker neighborhoods and Southern University campus to activate the space value. Our team is going to use LID design tools and agriculture water conservation, cleaning and recycling method to study the site.

The Landscape Design of Menghuitaoyuan community Date: 2012.5-2012.6 The reason why the theme orientation is the Land of Peach Blossom is that the theme could stimulate the sense of resonance and identity of our special clients who once lived in countryside. As for the type of landscape, we did not take traditional Chinese landscape into consideration, but choose modern landscape, the reasons of which are that on one hand, this region suffers inundant European landscape, on the other hand, both traditional Chinese landscape and neo Chinese landscape do not coordinate with the high-density high rise apartment in this project. Some of the landscape areas in this project try to introduce the concept of drought enduring garden and rainwater garden, enriching the landscape elements taking advantage of the features of terrain and climate.

This region is the banding water body that almost runs through the whole project, and even simple treatment of this long and thin water would harm its landscape value. Therefore, in terms of the design of the footpath along the water, I hope it would be as rhythmic as the DNA chain. Incessant change of distance between the footpath and the water would create different landscapes and pleasure of sightseeing.

Detial concept There is no lack of description of shipping and cottage in Peach-Blossom Source, so I integrate the element of ship into the landscape of the minor pedestrian crossing in the southwest of the project. It is not a simple landscape sculpture, but a combination with waterscape through the passageway. I hope that the residents would sense more participation into the landscape.

ZHUJIA ROYAL MASION
The Landscape Design of Zhujia Shoufu Residence Date: 2013.05-2013.10 This project is a real estate project of Zhujia Real Estate Limited in Anshun, constructing at the same time with the theme park. Close neighboring Zhujia Park, this project is developed in three phases. This text is the deepening design part of its first phase of landscape design. The buildings in this project will use artdeco style, with simple European style as the landscape style. Design area is 35337.81m²
This project is developed in three phases, the theme of the first one is fountain, the second is long bridge and the third is music. During the first phase, there are two landscape groups. The southwest is the main entrance of the first phase, neighboring the business street. The landscape is mainly regular symmetric style, taking three water bodies with different function and shapes as the main part to manifest the quality of the landscape. The northern group is close to the entrance of the theme park, the landscape of which is mainly natural, seeking tranquilization and harmony.

This was a private garden I designed. I used spanish color and texture materials to fit the spanish style villa. Moreover, I set up severval spanish style spots and furniture to magnify this style.
