App Interface Design:

The home screen of the app Bloom.

The Profile page allows the parent to add specific information regarding the baby, in order to personalize the app.

The menu preparation page lets the parent plan ahead, and be able to organize her time, by knowing the required ingredients and recipes.

The recipes page lets the parent view recipes and the ingredients needed for the preplanned meals.


The identify container page shows up when the container is scanned, and has not been identified yet by the parent.

The freshness page shows up when the container is scanned, it informs the parent about the contents’ freshness.

The nutritional information page shows the parent nutritional values and summaries.

The settings page allows the user to control devices, and get alerted when the battery is low.

Finalization & Detailing: Sections

This section shows the mechanisms implemented in the stage plates, mainly the legs and the sliding rail. In addition, the section shows the placement of the truss structure on the hydraulic legs, plus the height of the hydraulic legs when closed.

This section shows the wings section, as well as the rail mechanism system implemented in the stage plates, as well as the placement of the accessories, and their relation to each other. The section also shows where the hydraulic tank is placed.

Fuse is a playground concept which enables visually impaired children to integrate with sighted children. The maze game is a part of it, and it depends on the children’s balance abilities and audio feedback to finish the game, given that balance is primary to the visually impaired children’s physical development.

System Detailing:

The Jawbone allows users to watch the movie without distractions, while it records peak moments during the movie according to the collective body movements of the audience.

The Pop-up events give the target users a glimpse of the Lumen Experience with a twist on Location.

A Personal Teaser is done on an interactive table where the users can gather after the movie. Pick

Let Them Choose

Invite a friend

The receivers get a feeling of the cross media experience and can choose where they experience it, as well the movies they watch while experiencing it at Lumen.

After having the personal teaser created on the interactive table, the bracelet will automatically sync it with the app. Thus, allowing the user to share the teaser with others through chosen networks. The user can invite others, as well as view what the next events and movies are.

Get them Engaged The receivers of the personal teaser will be able to view them and reply to the senders and communicate with them. Thus allowing them to plan future activities together. Receivers can view what else is happening, as they are able to browse the coming up events, as well as the shown movies at Lumen.

Have them Invite Back Users can browse currently shown movies, they are able also able to see reviews of other app users, as well as invite them for the next time around.

The wall mounted unit is made up of two main body parts which can be easily taken apart for maintenance purposes.

Production: The pieces were produced from aluminum profiles that were cut and glued.

The Table was produced from wood and aluminum sheets. Aluminum sheet was cut into defined shapes and glued on to the wood.

Wood pieces were produced from soft wood that were cut. chipped, and glued.
