BOBART Cairo, Egypt Co-founder Apr 2012–Jul 2013 • Founded BobArt in collaboration with a business partner after reaching the final stage of The Hit, a product innovation competition, with a new idea: decorative lamps with stenciled pop-art designs. • Created custom designs for clients and digitized them into AutoCAD files for manufacturing specifications, based on a cost- and time-efficient production scheme to minimize company budget and maintain high-quality output within a 4-day delivery period. • Catalogued and organized financial records, implemented an Instagram page to promote products to the target market, and investigated strategies to introduce new products and designs. TRANSLATING CONCEPT THROUGH STRUCTURE

Beginning the design of a pavilion representing Saudi Arabia in the World Expo through conceptual models (above), translating the journey of development within the country through form and structure [Dec 2013].

The next stage in the design process involved designing in section (above), followed by creating the plans (right), with structural details shown. Final digital model created using Rhinosceros (below), showing the spiralling journey gradually opening up from a solid shear wall structure to a cantilevered Vierendeel frame structure.
