Energy Broker
Energy Broker An Energy Broker (EGB) is a North American Power (NAP) Independent Representative who has passed a background check, been trained by a certified trainer, signed the training verification form and has been issued an NAP ID number. The initial fee to become an Energy Broker is $49.00. An annual renewal fee of $49.00 is required and must be paid within 30 days of the anniversary of the Energy Brokers acceptance date in order to remain active in the program and to continue to receive the customer acquisition bonus and residual income.
Benefits of an Energy Broker Whenever an EGB personally recruits a new EGB into their organization and personally helps their newly recruited EGB acquire 5 accepted customers within the first 30 days of the new EGBs start date, the recruiting EGB will receive a $100 leadership bonus. North American Power shall pay the Energy Broker as set forth below a one-time initial fee (Customer Acquisition Bonus, CAB) per approved contract and an ongoing fee (Residual Income) based on actual usage/consumption per approved contract. An approved contract is defined as executed by the customer responsible for the electricity account that is verified by Third Party Verification (TPV) and accepted by the local utility. Get paid a one time Customer Acquisition Bonus (CAB) of $15.00 for each personally acquired accepted residential (RS) customer whose usage is 500 kWh monthly. Get paid a one time Customer Acquisition Bonus (CAB) of $15.00 for each personally acquired accepted small commercial (CM) customer who’s usage is 500 kWh – 4999 kWh monthly. Get paid a one time Customer Acquisition Bonus (CAB) of $40.00 for each personally acquired accepted small commercial (CM) customer whose usage is 5,000 kWh – 9,999 kWh monthly. Earn 2 mils (.002) per kWh monthly residual income on all personally acquired active RS customers commencing with the 4th billing cycle. Earn 2 mils (.002) per kWh monthly residual income on all personally acquired active CM customers whose usage is 9,999 kWh monthly commencing with the 4th billing cycle. Earn 2 mils (.002) per kWh monthly residual income on all personally acquired active CM customers in EGB organization whose usage is 10,000 kWh monthly commencing with the 1st billing cycle. Earn 2 mils (.002) per kWh monthly residual income on all personally acquired commercial & industrial (CI) customers whose usage is 25,000 kWh monthly commencing with the 1st billing cycle. Customers whose average monthly usage is below 25,000 kWh do not qualify as CI customers and as such cannot be custom priced. Note: EGBs whose personally acquired customers have usage >= 500,000 kWh in any given month will earn 2 ½ mils (.0025) per kWh on those personally acquired customers in that given month. First up line AMR will earn ¼ mil (.00025) per kWh on that EGB’s personal customer volume in any given month that the EGB earns the 2 ½ mils (.0025) per kWh. First up line RSM will earn ¼ mil (.00025) per kWh on the EGB’s personal customer volume in any given month that the EGB earns the 2 ½ mils (.0025). If there is no up line AMR between that EGB and first up line RSM then the first up line RSM will earn ½ mil (.0005) per kWh on that EGB’s personal customer volume in any given month that the EGB earns the 2 ½ mils (.0025). EGBs who personally acquire 5 active/accepted customers are referred to as Qualified Energy Brokers (QEB). This title does not change any compensation for the EGB. It qualifies an EGB to be counted toward an up line EGB’s promotion to AMR or RSM.

Area Manager
Area Manager An Area Manager (AMR) is North American Powers first earned position. To be promoted to Area Manager an EGB must complete the following requirements: Acquire and maintain 20 personal active/accepted customers. Personally recruit 5 EGBs that have each acquired 5 active/accepted customers. Have a total of 10 EGBs in the first 2 levels of your EGB organization (including the EGBs that you have personally recruited) that have each acquired 5 active/accepted customers. Have total volume of 500,000 kWh billing monthly in EGB organization with no more than 200,000 kWh billing monthly coming from a single leg or EGB’s personally acquired customers.

Regional Sales Manager A Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is North American Powers highest earned position. To be promoted to Regional Sales Manager an Area Manager must complete the following requirements: Maintain 20 personally acquired active/accepted customers. Personally recruit 3 new EGBs in the 1st level of your AMR organization and develop them to Area Manager, or develop 5 Area Managers anywhere within the 1st 5 levels of your AMR organization with no more than 1 AMR in any one leg. Affinity Programs, Fundraiser and Non-Profits Any organization can come into the NAP compensation plan as an AFF. Pay is as follows:
Compensation for Affinity Programs, Fundraisers and Non-Profits Non-Profits who furnish documentation of their tax-exempt status do not pay an application fee or renewal fee; Non-Profits cannot recruit Energy Brokers, however they can recruit other Non-Profits. The Energy Broker who recruits the Non-Profit will earn AFF customers and a $5.00 CAB override on accepted customers. Upline AMs and RSMs follow existing rules for customer acquisition overrides. Upline AMs and RSMs will earn ¼ mil (.00025) per kWh monthly residual override on all active RS, CM and CI AFF customers. (All existing rules will apply.) If there is no upline AMR between the AFF and first upline RSM then the first upline RSM will earn ½ mil (.0005) per kWh monthly residual override on the AFF customers.
Training Position Trainers must have earned the rank of AMR or RSM to train new Energy Brokers. A trainer can train an Energy Broker in any organization. An Energy Broker cannot acquire customers until there is a signed training verification form on record with NAP. Upon receipt of that form NAP will activate the Energy Broker’s Rep ID.
