PEDESTRIANS Waiting for trams • Stay behind the yellow line at all times until your tram has arrived and its doors have opened. Getting off trams • Move immediately across the yellow line and off the elevated road.

Need assistance getting on trams? • If you need help with getting on a tram, wait behind the yellow line at the front of the stop and signal the driver.
BIKE RIDERS Tram stops, riders stop. • As trams arrive, slow down and make a complete stop keeping clear from tram doors.
The new tram zones in Swanston Street feature a new elevated road for cyclists. It is a road without vehicles and safety rules still apply to everyone.
