what makes me feel alive? Being involved, involved in every activity to understand the thrill behind certain, such that it reciprocates the design manifestation through the reflection of our habits and our inner space. These evoke curiosity to live certain to get a glimpse of such reality. These manifestations guide every individual’s habits, which makes one a timeless one.

P EOPLE & PLACES WEAVING CENTRE SEMESTER: III
MAHASHWER,MADHYA PRADESH
Site
Concern
The program intended to design an institute for a weaver community in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. It is on the banks of Narmada river, comprises of monumental Ghats, which is a communal area of every citizen. The site is near ghat following colonnade and chowk With few traditional residences, along with the cluster of temple on one side. The major occupation of the people in Maheshwar is handloom weaving, which leads them to export and work for fortune brands. Heavy stone walls, hill forts and gates makes this city’s dynamic.
•Enriching the art of weaving •Symbolic relation between New and Existing •Activating the chowk functionally •Exhibition as a spillover/temporary •Symbiotic relationship b/w architecture & nature The weaving center would be such that it preserves the culture of weaving and enriches it with spatial arrangements which creates a sense of neighbourhood such that the notion of community area being a part of chowk. Arrangement provokes the pattern of chowk around the human scale

Ground Floor Plan
Illustrate the esay flow from ghat to woods. Resiprocrating columns such that it retains symbolic gesture and gives glimpse of what is through it, which settles down the cluster between trees. Makes cluster by the way through exhibits which evokes dynamic circulation. This section illustrate the cafe & sitting from chowk to theentrance to weaving exhibhition through courtyard and amphithetre, hard to soft arrangement that liquifies into woods or other side

Kitchen/Dining
THALTEJ,AHMEDABAD cluster plan view
Site
Concern
The site is near Thaltej lake, Ahmedabad. Splitting in between two economical certainties. Settlements on one side are high end while the other comprises of different communities living there for generations. While different on every aspect, the only thing connecting them is a single road.
Our society is guided by our traditional values, tweaking with certain modern ones. Therefore, the intent is a vision of democratic urban spaces, where gender dimensions of usage and experiences of Home to Public Space. Driving Force
Women is a core of the house who spends most of her lifetime home and others following her. Which makes her a core of lore. Taking this as the centre of the home , dining and kitchen area become the driving force, which governs the other spaces, follows by expansion of house which liquefies as a semi open terraces. This evokes access to public space, which neutralizes the fundamentals related to status and power.

MATERIAL & LIGHT CREMATORIUM SEMESTER: IV
RANCHARDA, AHMEDABAD
The program was intended to design crematorium in Rancharda, Ahmedabad. SThe site has in abundance the bawal trees, which also adds to the material and light understanding. Understanding of life and death was crucial by attaining cremation to understand the process, the beliefs, human relation. This lead to the process of narrating one’s own death. The narration lead to metaphors vivid, numb, liberty, levitate, mellow. Which signifies the death or after death!
Death should be celebrated as a freedom for the lost soul instead of being dominating it as a sensitive . Life and death is a flow of nature & need to be let it undisturbed. Making out moment is a way a following the flow of nature. The intent was to intreges the nostalgic memories manifesting load bearing walls and types of vault, through open/ semi open spaces, which also sync with the choreography of natural light and shadows.
sectional model: light study
Plan at 900mm
These metaphors lead to imagine the quality of light and shadows and mass and voids with senses evokes while keeping in mind the material to be used i.e. brick and concrete. This intrigue other patterns to maifest elements A sense of cleansing should come to the persons mind while walking the beloved one for the very last time that is self-cleansing and the cleansing of the lost.

MATERIAL DETAIL Relationship between material, structure and form. Using real material for building scale sectional model to understand the relationship between two or more material, light, textures, spanning limitations, techniques, systems of structures. It makes aware of the inner rational of form finding.
Arches informal sitting Semester III
Scale 1:10
Casting concrete spring stone to laying bricks to form arches to create informal sitting in campus, Indus university
Stone & Timber dhangadara housing Semester IV
Scale 1:1
Assembly detail of local dhangadara sandstone, timber truss with mangalore tiles, timber beams and stone flooring by making sectional model through window and pitch roof
CSCB & Rammed Earth vikas community, auroville Semester IV
Scale 1:10
The project by earth institute helps understand the elabrative use of locally available material and techniques which makes the assembly dynamic. Understanding the detail of rammed earth & cscb fondation, cscb walls, flat cscb vault, filler slabs with real material
Brick & Timber town hall, finland Semester IV
Scale 1:10
Alvar alto’s diversified use of brick enriches the passage with pattern of light, circulation and only cavity wall as it cantilevers. Assembly of each brick and timber clerestory window helps understand light

BASIC DESIGN The syllabus was designed to widen and explore the Channels of Creativity. These are developed by breaking out of ‘concept prisons’ of old ideas and introducing to LATERAL THINKING. Lateral thinking generates more alternatives that are capable of culminating in design. The exercises focus on these principles as an ordering system. Form as a positive element and the space surrounding it as a negative space. This enforces the relation between positive and negative as an inseparable element of basic design and subsequently architectural design.
Tripod Composition Semester II
Scale 1:10
Composition using tripods to understand composition and repetition by creating order in it, which provokes certain pattern and 1:1 scale tripods and their composition along with they understanding of scale
Tripod in 1:1 Scale to form a Abstractionism. In Campus, Indus University.
light Abstraction Semester IV
Based on metaphor from the crematorium, vivid, numb, liberty, levitate, mellow.
DESIGN PROCESS Process plays very important role in realizing things which gives our intentions rational aspects, with failure and gain such that it provokes better way of looking spatial relations. Thus it helps review the evolution in organic flow. This comprises of selected process based work, which involved concerns and idea based on restriction which made such works dynamic Spanning Semester II
Exercise was to span 1mtr such that it takes point and uniform load without bucking, bending or without failing the configuration The idea was to divide into 6 module with each junction connects in such a way that it counter balance any weight put upon
Introvert Lamp Shade Rhino-Grasshopper Semester V
Scale 1:2
Intend was to use doubly curved surface to achieve a form using rhinoceros and grasshopper software which allows to manipulate and tweak the curves & concept was to reciprocate the principles of mobius bend to achieve dynamic form.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT This subject encourages to explore and experiment with various methods of observation and recording through drawing – pencil, pen, brush, charcoal, crayons. The assignments are designed to make students learn an array of methods of representation ranging from simple geometric objects, complex geometries to objects in nature. The learn skills required for sketching such as line drawing, shade and shading techniques.
Material Change house 1024,spain Semester IV
Material change without disturbing spatial relationship. Changing from brick and steel with timber and stone, using 3D & 2D softwares

DESIGN & BUILD COLOBRATIVE WORKSHOP SEMESTER: IV
MANDANGADH,MAHARASHTRA
The intent was to design and execute the construction using bamboo and earth which will introduce the participants to the art of building with natural materials. The task given was to design a pavilion with bamboo trusses and rammed earth wall. For this, some sketches were made initially for conceptual design and technical details after which mockup models to understand the behaviour of the design. A
