EDUCATION Bachelors in Interior designing Navrachana University - School of Environmental Design and Architecture Vadodara, Gujarat 2013-2017 10+2 Class of 2013 St. Joseph’s Convent S.S. School Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh “I discovered my passion for creativity at a young age. I would spend my time sketching and recreating corners of my house in my own ways. I have always had a strong fascination with geometry and interior architecture, which lead me to pursue my career in Interior Design. Each project I have completed during my education has given me the knowledge of both creativity and technical work to take on new challenges and work towards designing solutions. I strongly believe in the power of design inspired through lived habitats and nature. I hope to utilize my learnings and skills and apply them to my future projects in my career of interior design while continuing to expand my design knowledge and passion.”

CONCEPT
The idea of FREEDOM within DISCIPLINE. The concept started with two solid tubes inversing the void in the space into mass and providing them flexibility to flow within the existing structural grid. The idea was to create a space by taking two contrasting form in consideration as a GRID and a BLOB.
PROCESS
Understanding the functional attribute of a VAV as water storage and going through its architectural experiences in terms of strong axis and its magnetic downward pull. Understanding the soul mechanism of INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC and its magnitude in expression.
01 ADAPTIVE RE-USE SEVASI STEPWELL
MUSEUM FOR INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC INSTRUMENTS
The project was to build a museum for Indian classical music instruments in the step-well without disturbing the self-standing structure. The idea was to merge the architectural value with the cultural values, this was achieved by adding a function into the existing heritage structure, so that it can also be preserved. Also keeping in mind that the existing structure is not damaged. To create a performance area of INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC in the vav, analysis was done to understand the acoustic and sound quality of different types of instrument at different level.
STUDIO SEMESTER 4
The BLOB has laminated timber structure as load bearing encased in steel frame around the blob.
STRUCTURE
In order to, preserve the existing structure without any disturbance a system of inter-locking of wooden joist is adapted. This also follows the existing grid pattern of Vav, enhancing the sacredness and true essence of the heritage structure.
DISPLAY SYSTEM
The concept for the display system is layering and texture in shun knives. The Damascus property of the shun knives (layering on the blade) is a process whose resultant is the texture on the blade. The uniqueness of shun is that they leave the Damascus grains raw on the blade. Shun has 10 series of knives. Each series has different way of making, texture and finishing as the making process is different for each one. After observing the different textures on each
On each blade of the series, one common thing among them were the contour like lines on each blade. Taking these contour like lines and highlighting them as knife display system.
02 RETAIL DESIGN
SHOWROOM FOR THE KNIFE BRAND ‘SHUN’ - JAPANESE BRAND In japan, the blade has been more than just a tool; the way of the blade is a way of life. The task was to design a store which reflected the individuality of the brand with a display system that were meant only for knives. Further, understanding the brand and its identity and further reflecting it in the retail space.
