Water is an element that can shape into any form, and is present in nearly every place on Earth, and is also vital to our bodies, lives and entire well-being. It is a universal component and a part of Nature; that was implemented in our design concept. We want our idea to carry out the abstract idea of water itself. Water is a central source of our beings which represents persistence, determination and willpower, exactly what we want people at hospitals/patient rooms to experience.

Inspired by the root of the tree, I designed this villa for a family where the mother was disabled and the child was autistic.I wanted to relate the tree trunk to my concept as the family that we were desigining for has undergone some unfortunate events.Through my plan i wanted to incorporate the different curves that represent the different stages of the tree trunk.

Lines and movement are the two main elements that were implemented into my design. Incorporating the architecture into the interior with the lines by either making up furniture pieces, floor or ceiling elements’ tried to minimize closed spaces and incorporate the sense of continuity and openness that lines portray.

Inspired by days at the park, that we used to love that was made up of great company fueled by authentic food .I wanted to create a space that takes you on a stroll down memory lane. I wanted to incorporate living green walls into my design because these plants are known to purify the air around us and also bring a lively atmosphere to the space.

Tree House
We were asked to design a free standing bathroom, I decided to design a “tree house bathroom my inspiration came from wanting to implement part of the surroundings into my plan. Since my plan was located in the Swedish forests I wanted to add a hint of the forest into my plan. I fell in love with all the grains that make up the tree log and based that as the main element in my plan. Tree houses are not static structures they are built on living foundation. That sense of movement represents the curves in my plan.

Bowie showed us how malleable identity can be, His gleeful experimentation with appearance and sexuality went beyond theatrics - it was a statement of identity a proud and profound declaration of autonomy and expression and that’s what we wanted to implement into our design. We wanted the space that we designed to give people who look at it a feeling of nostalgia while looking at our space.

Curved partitions and copper colors were my main inspiration for designing this office.I chose Richard Serra as my artist for this project as I felt his work could actually be implemented into the deign rather than having pieces of art work that I would have to hang on the wall. Richard Serra is known for his curved partitions; I took his partitions and used them as the pieces around the office.

Borders Reinvented
Inspired by the Salvador Dali Museum, I wanted to “reinvent” Borders the bookstore. My inspiration was all about the curves that go around the museum and having the staircase as the focal point. The curves represented movement and connectivity through out the plan.As for the outdoor area i decided to go with an abstract tree to keep in flow with the interior space.

The Metropolitan
The silhouettes of New York City have always been favored for their ascending volumes. From Walls to the famous skyline all the way to the innovative highline park with its angular, levelled flooring design. Our design implements an innovative use of the Swedish pine wood into a console and its complementary mirror partition breaking through it. We decided to play with the dark and the light as we contrasted each height of the volumes Against each other all breaking into a delicate glass top. We enriched the separate pieces in the top by incorporating thin layers of mirrors into the angles.
