DESCRIPTION The intent of this project is to design a music school in an underdeveloped area while neighboring a high-school designed by RCR architects. The concept revolves around the importance of gathering circles in the local community and the bridging between those gathering circles. This is done while taking sustainability and the harsh environment at play.

DESCRIPTION The intent of th is project was to study a specific structural system through primarily physical modeling and then transforming and mimicking the forces and behaviors created through parametric and digital processes. The main function of the construct is to provide spatial conditions and qualities that can accommodate gallery spaces within the local park, while integrating both the form and the function with the landscape and existing conditions such as the existing grid of palm trees.

DESCRIPTION The intent of the is project was to generate a construct that accommodates and celebrates inhabitation, and in doing so provides a space for a ritual, in this case bathing. The design process took the experiential atmosphere into consideration; such as sun, wind and public and private conditions. Furthermore, the representations, drawings and renders, captured and communicated the sensory experience of inhabitation.

DESCRIPTION The intent of this project was to create a private retreat located in Cyprus for a university professor. The client is seeking a quiet retreat from the busy city life, in favor of a direct relationship with her natural surroundings in terms of weather, vegetation and views. During much of the year the climate of this region allows one to blur the boundary between the interior and the exterior, allowing one to treat the exterior as a simple extension of indoor living.

DESCRIPTION In this exercise, we were required to design a new master plan of the underdeveloped Abu Shagharah residential area; that was transformed from a secondhand car market to an inactive zone. Through the master plan, we proposed a solution for the existing urban condition. The primary added components consist of: - Primary public spaces (parks) - Secondary green spaces - Tertiary pedestrian passages - Way-finding nodes - Mixture of housing typologies

DESCRIPTION Abu Shagharah is located in the heart of Sharjah; however, due to the lack of public spaces and the existing housing typologies it has transformed into an inactive zone. Our proposal consists of a combination of new housing typologies and a wide variety of public spaces. This residential block acts as an important node in the neighborhood as well as a self-sufficient active block.

DESCRIPTION The studio develops a work pod that is site specific to the College of Architecture and Design, and examines how current users use various areas within the building as a work spaces. Collaborating on a single pod design from its conception to its realization at full scale, deploy various fabrication and materials techniques.

DESCRIPTION BRACKETS
The intent of this project is to build a structurally behavioural construct that utilized rigid timber elements ( 2x4 or 2x2) components connected with pin joints. The constructs must also have cable members that undergo tension forces . Furthermore, the design must be able to support itself for a span of 1200mm and carry a minimum load of 75kg.

DESCRIPTION
ITERATION 1
ITERATION 2
1- SPICE GRINDER The intent of this design is to 3D print the skin of a grinder mechanism, while taking ergonomics into consideration. The concept of the design was derived from the process of grinding salt. 2- GIRIH TILES The intent of this project was to form a tileable module in order to fabricate, cast and mount a composition of tiles.

DESCRIPTION Collages are an alternative form of representation that combine drawings, images, and models to convey a concept and represent a project. I also find collages as one of the most effective ways of illustrating any notion behind any project; for example, circulation, historical development, translation of context, contrasting scenes, and concept development.
