Charrette Week - Machine for Living: The year began with the Charrette week where all stages were split into various charrettes. The Machine for Living was a hands-on charrette which involved creating machines focused on various themes; the machine I helped to produce was The Paint Machine. What differed from previous years was that in this smaller group I was the most experienced, being in Stage 3. I took on more of a leadership role which was challenging but rewarding when our machine finally worked at the end of the week. I enjoyed this years charrette week the most because I became more involved in the work than previous years.
