The Lives of the Native Americans Greatest Native American quotes “This was a pretty country you took away from us.” Quanah Parker “You must not fight the whites. I not only advise against it, I forbid it.” Washakie “I love to roam over the prairies. There I feel free and happy, but when we settle down, we grow pale and die.” - Satanta

The Several Chiefs The many Native American chiefs all perished in the same way. That ‘way’ is by trying to protect their land. Through Reading this book ‘Indian Chiefs’ by Russell Freedman, the success is based on protecting their land and people, as the white men who ruled the European land, now roam America. Now taking over and stealing the Indians land. Many of the natives refuse to sell their land, therefore the white men take it by force by killing the bulls, (the Natives food supply) which caused the starvation of the Indians. This relates to the Israel-Palestine conflict, by Israel brutally murdering the Palestinians. The evilness is tremendously unbelievable. Many of the Indian chiefs mostly wanted peace with the white man, however their peace truces were broken by the white man.
What I learned Before I Started I did not much about the Indian Chiefs, however I knew that the Battle of Little Big Horn was the greatest war defeat United States ever faced against the Natives. Where General Custard’s army had no survivors. I also knew that Satanta was the leader of the Kiowa tribe. Now that I completed the book, I am currently full of knowledge.

What I Wanted To Know The questions I had in my head throughout the book, are the thing I wanted to know. I wanted to know how the Native Americans declined which I recently found out during the chapter of Washakie. I also wanted to know how Red Cloud got his name, some said the meteorite passed by the sky leaving red clouds. I wanted to know why Satanta committed suicide, and what other foods did the Native American eat other that buffalos. Eventually I found the answers to all of the questions. The Native Americans also ate Antelopes and other indigenous animals. The White Man killed all the buffalo and other food supplies for the Indians which caused them to starve to death.
The Books I completed ‘Indian Chiefs’
What I Learned I learned several things from this book. Quanah Parker’s whole family was murdered which lead him to leave his tribe, he was also one of the richest Native Americans who ever lived. I learned some information which I could not believe, for instance, every time a native American child entered the white man territory in search of food, they would be beaten and abused. I learned that Washakie always wanted peace with the white people because they had an army in which he wouldn't stand a chance. I learned many throughout this outstanding book.

Success In This Book
Vocabulary words Exterminate Page: 60 To destroy completely
Success in this book is basically about saving their land and people from the invaders. As the invaders come to take over the Native American Lands, they have to strive to achieve what they want to achieve which is their land. Succeeding to them is to save themselves and to win their wars. In my thought success is to achieve what you are willing to achieve, to be the best or to do something you have been practicing over and over again

Success quote from A Native American
A bias article and why it is bias “Washington—The leadership of the most powerful pro-Israel lobby in the U.S. publicly broke Sunday from the White House over the issue of Iran policy during the first of a three-day policy conference in Washington attended by 16,000 of its members. Leaders of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or Aipac, outlined a strategy moving forward of working through Congress to disrupt any nuclear agreement with Tehran that is deemed too weak in denying the country a nuclear weapons capability. This would be achieved, they said, both by seeking to impose new sanctions on Iran and to block the White House’s ability to lift standing U.S. sanctions, which would be required as part of any comprehensive agreement. “Congress has a critical role” in determining this deal, Howard Kohr, Aipac’s executive director, said in opening remarks aimed at rallying the group’s membership. “Congress’s role doesn’t end when there is a deal. Congress must review this deal.” Aipac also is seeking to impose new sanctions on Iran if there is no agreement by a late March deadline and to legislate an up-or-down vote in Congress. The White House is opposing both legislative action “
This article is talking about Iran having nuclear power. Which is think is bias toward the thought of being against Iran. In the quote “Aipac also is seeking to impose new sanctions on Iran” it is obvious to see that Israel is against Iran, because AIPAC is American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Which in my opinion is insane, for as Iran has signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which as the treaty allows the country to have nuclear power, where as countries such as Pakistan and most importantly Israel has not signed it, yet has nuclear power.
